Yes, true i surpose, but there are certain times when a bloke needs to be tough, and times to be a softy. Having 4 daughters between 19 and 13 ( at one stage ) and many a boy would call on the phone. I would pick the phone up and one would say: Can i speak to so and so. I always replied with.....WHY?( Very loud deep voice )... Then the phone went dead 'click' A bit later daughter would say....did a boy called Mark call, Dad. Yes i would say. What did he want!!...I dont know, i would say, he just hung up.......:>))) My point was, if you wanna take my daughter out, then show me what your made of, and stand up to me,cos one day you may need to be tough to protect her. Tony Oz...:>))) |

Evening Wafflers Tony...corn beef...yummm...did you do white sauce too? Lew..now Terry has new aids he'll be able to hear you call him when he's tending the olives and grapes. Glad to hear you got home safe. Joodles...do you have new bling around your name? It looks different. As your daughter is a vegetarian does she eat the chook eggs? SuzyQ ...Graeme wants to know if you have named all your chooks. He says he's never known a woman who had animals NOT to name them. Rebs... keep the fluids up girl. Healing thoughts head to you. Try and get a decent nights sleep tonight. Your body can't heal if you don't rest. Stands on tippy toes and ~~~~~waves to Jude in Melb. How ya going? I might make some hot chocolate and dive into a nice warm bed. Have to get a good night's sleep as I have to iron most of the clothes I washed today ...grumble...moan. Those darn brothers refuse to learn how to iron. I sometimes think 'what good are they?' Then I remember what they're good at ....uuummmm. Night all. Sleep well. Love Trifley X |

Trifley, Jann has named her chickens, but there has been so many have died and there are new ones, I cant keep up with them all !! .. As far as I know they dont eat eggs, tho I guess if she was making a cake, she'd use them. .. The lady next door, who keeps an eye on the girls when Jann is away overnight, mostly gets them, but occasionally I might get a few. Yes, my new bling was to look as pretty as your trararara you were wearing the other night. .. Not sure I like it though (mine, that is) Now Trifley just what is it that these brothers are good at hmmmmm???? .. Please explain. Jood |

OK Rebs, hope you are feeling better Babe. I think you need to see Dr Lew. Maybe one of Trifley's boy will soon be home. I'm sure I saw them in Thailand today, taking the royal barge down the river for the kings's birthday celebrations. Really impressive. And I thought (I'm sure) I might have seen the mighty Queen (but not on the Nile). You either need more of the vino or lots more of the rum(bo). SuzyQ Count me in for Jupiters - sure I can do some damage there. Yea - Lew Lew and Shaz are really quiet, - scarey!!! When Dr Lew is quiet - we have a problem. Laurie Hope you had a good flight home (well, if you can call NSW a real home). Okay guys especially Jood and SuzyQ Love chooks. Had a black chook (Blackie) as my pet when I was really young. Don't really want to know if it was a Sunday roast or died naturally (as my parents told me). Anyone with a spare chick or two - I'm happy to relieve you of one or two of them . Have tried to talk my OH into supporting the chicken population. If I have the live specimen, I win my cause. . Sorry Queen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ no chicks Okay now it is scarey - Dr Lew is about again. Okay ( Dr - of what ) Lew I'm in for the Mudgee meet if you'll have me. Just remember, I am the really quiet one. Sorry Rebs But, do you think you won't catch cold dressed the way you were. But still loved the outfit Will get back to the rest ofd the thread tomorrow Pam |

Hey Laurie - what does this mean? 'I just told the lovely Ray how I am suffering to be with him. Scumbag came back with a reply along the lines of me being here to make him suffer! That cost him two more certs this week! And they wont be his family!' Is he away or something? Didn't understand what you meant. Cold here in the mountains this morning, and I'm off to Lithgow by train with a group of girls for the day - and anyone knows Lithgow is much much colder. .. Its ok Shazz, I'm going to a View Club do. .. Thought about ringing Faye, but then I wouldnt have time to see her anyway. .. Be funny if it was snowing .. well not really, it would be exciting. .. But I dont think it will. Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to youuuu Happy birthday dear Tonyyyyyyyyyyy Happy birthday tooooo youuuu *sung quietly as not to disturb Rebs* (hope you are feeling better today) Jood |

Good Morning Wattlers Tony Happy birthday. I hope the day is everything you hoped it would be, of course you probably wont get many pressies as you have got a great pressie in a few days lol. Anyway all the best ol' chap. Rebs hope you are ok and manage to shake this virus quick. Anna did you get the story on Today tonight about the guy in Toowoomba who gives heaps to charity? His name eludes me at the moment all I can remember is it is a foreign name, but he gives away huge amounts of money and has his name on a few buildings etc up there. It is not as bad here today, no real frost to speak of, which is good as I hate driving on roads when black ice is about, expecting rain tomorrow, that would be right with dd at camp, sleeping in tents oh well I had better get her up or she wont be ready when its time to go. Catch you all later. Cheers Sue |

Morning Wattlers and a very Happy Birthday to our Tony - the bravest bloke on the board! Hope you have a wonderful day, mate. Freezing in Mudgee this morning. Everything is white from the frost and it'll take some time for the sun to dry it up. Jood, it will be very cold in Lithgow, so make sure you rug up proper. Pam, you're welcome to the Mudgee Meet. I'll check out the accommodation and let you all know the nicest places to stay. Don't worry, Lara, Terry will wear those hearing aids! They cost $4,400 per ear!!! His was caused from National Service, but don't think that the Government has volunteered to pay anything. How you feeling this morning, Rebs? Honey, lemon and brandy is what I prescrbe for you, madam. Hey, we had rain! While we were away we had 12mm then 20mm, hooray. Perhaps we should go away more often. Thanks for the photos, Anna. I'll send mine off soon, along with some house ones. Off to work - 16 sleeps. Dr Lew xxx |

Good morning Wattlers Happeeee birthday to you Happy birthday to you Happy birthday dear Toneeeeeeeeee Happy birthday to youuuuuuuuuu I've had 2 cups of coffee this morning so the voice should be silky smooth. It's a bright, sunny day here on the Gold Coast. However there is a cold breeze blowing, probably from that frosty Mudgee. Joodles....the brothers are very handy at massages, opening champers, feeding me grapes....you know...all the important things in life. Enjoy your VIEW trip today. You're right...Lithgow can get bloody cold so rug up well. So your daughter just keeps the girls as pets then? Devely...make sure your daughter has her sleeping bag with her. It will be very cold just sleeping on the ground as Anna's daughter found out. The Lovely Ray....don't you worry sweet heart...if Laurie calls you nasty names like 'scumbag' again you can come and work with the brothers heeee heee. Dr Lew... neither Graeme nor I are keen on B&B's so I think we'll just book into the Parklands Resort. It's 4& 1/2 stars.....how bad could it be? 16 bottles of Chardy on the wall 16 bottles of Chardy If one of the bottles should happen to fall We'll slurp it all up with a straw. I'm off to do the ironing, see you later. love Trifley X |

Hi Trifley, the Country Comfort is okay. It has recently changed hands and they are slowing renovating the rooms which had become a bit tired. It's very close to town (about 1km) and I'm 7km out towards Gulgong, so it's only a 5 min drive. Yes, only 16 to go. Can't wait just to lay back and do nothing for a while. You know, read a book, watch trashy tv and boss Terry about. Well, back to work (yeah right!!!) Lew Lew, heeee, heeee xxx |
