Hi everyone. Lovely day today but cold. down to 6c in Sydney this morning.. Just spent 15 minutes laughing at the last 2 pages, darent go back any further as I wont get any work done today. Morning. I'ts a cold day in Mullborn. Rained over night, and still drizzling. Just chest outside and its still rain..... O'h......is it my birthday in...(((((((((((' 2 DAYS')))))))))).....Gee.... i nearly forgot.....:>)) Kids and grandchildren are popping in on Wednesday night to celebrate, so looking forward to having them all down. ( Plus my kids will put there orders in for pressies from the U.K ).....lol I am packed. One Toothbrush One shaving bag and contents. One pair of sunny's. Have ordered removal truck to come and pick up Barb's suitcases......:>)))) Queens birthday long weekend in Vic. Thanks to all who emailed me pic's of the Brissie meet. Lara. Should be a great game mate, win-lose-or draw. Just out of interest for the new peeps who are new to this thread, and may be wondering why or what is a male doing chatting along with what appears to be all female group. Firstly.......I'm Australian, ( true blue born and bred Ozzie male ) I prefer to add to this thread than the outside general board ( for obvious reasons ) I do not discriminate between female and male. I see all as people, and good freinds. If someone has a go at me...i will respond, and expect the same treatment. If i say something that offends someone...then Email me...and i will delete it......no questions asked. I am self motivated, and use everything that moves to my advantage...and if it dosent move ......i push it. I am 57...( in 2 days ....:>))......widowed with 4 daughters ( between 33 and 28 ) and one other daughter....... ( to Barb, my soul mate and best freind )....... who is 13 going on 21.( Barbs one and only child ) I have 3 and a arf Grankids ( ones still cooking ) My first love is Genealogy and i will help ( or try to help ) anyone who needs it. I carry most Ozzie index's...BDM's or what is allowable to the General Public. The people who know me..on this thread, know i kid around a bit ( purely for fun ) as laughter is the best medicine in my books, and beats any drug that man/woman has invented I add to this thread, mainly because i find the people on here are the best. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you came for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Tony, what a lovely message, glad to meet you. I live in Ipswich with Ron, husband and love of my life , and four dogs, oh and a son with who lives half his time with his g.friend and the other half with us, all soon to change as they are buying a house together. I have another d in UK due to come home for a friends wedding in Sept and then coming home for good next year or so she says. My middle girl lives close by and she has four children, she has had a bit of a rough trot, I have mentioned this once before so I won't go over it again, but she is doing very well now, so thats me and mine. That was a great idea Tony, thanks, Jillxx, you get two kisses for that lol

Tony, that was lovely, I feel all funny now. LOL I have just put another photo of the snake on GC photospage. It was about 2 metres long, I may get limo shoes as well as the handbag. How are the heads today, especially Trifley by the sounds of things. btw Trifley, if we have a mini meat on Tamborine it may be just a light lunch and coffee. No driving down the mountain inebriated LOL Jill have copied the chicken recipe, it sounds lovely. Mary have you had any feed back yet on the house? I need to uncross my fingers, they are getting sore. Queens birthday holiday here also, but I spent all morning cleaning and washing. I have visitors for lunch tomorrow and the house was a disgrace. Laurie, how long are you staying up here? Glad you are enjoying it, but it's not not warm. Rebs, the dress should be fine for the wedding, I think. Mind you, the weather today is perfect, lovely and sunny, and that helps. Hi Wattlers, Nice afternoon to spend in front of the fire, cold outside, and a bit windy. Have had son and his girlfriend visiting for a couple of days, lovely to spend some time with them. Grandson took his first unaided steps, time flys by. I am off on the FH again, inspired once again by some kind person on genes who knocked out a brick on one of my brick walls.....enough for me to see the way forward. There truley are some nice people doing family history. Have to go , take care all might look in again later Wilson
