where are you all?, I know, you've all gone away to cook; red cook chicken. we actually sent out for pizza tonight, a rarerity, when it came after an hour, they thought it was a pick up, so we got it for free the dough was so undone we complained, very politely so they sent another, again not cooked properly, I gave up and just eat the topping, but as we had ordered hot and spicey my tummy is now complaining, ho ho can't win, poor starving Jill, ps looking thinner by morning.xx

Pizza sounded nice Jill .. never bought one actually, usually make my own, but haven't for the past umpteen years. .. I got hungry for fish'n chips .. I have a shop about 3 mins. walk away, but I drive 15 mins. to a much better shop. .. Was lovely (and now I can boast in front of Ole King Cold) - I had a pineapple fritter too .. yuuuuuuuuum. .. Very naughty I know. Been playing Mahjong on here, it makes my eyes sore after a while, but keeps me busy. Jood

Jood, you play Mahjong? I used to teach it at TAFFE I love the game but haven't played it for years, have almost forgotten how to play, this is so funny, I mentioned only the other day to some friends how I used to teach it and they want to learn how to play, so I sent Ron up to the shed to find our old mahjong table and one of our projects this weekend besides going to the dump was to refurbish this old table, Ron and I are going to brush up by playing two hands each, I think you know what I mean, and see what comes back, my main problem is I have forgotten how to count, but thats not a problem as this will only be friendly games, super friendly, luv Jillx

Ooooo, we have a Mahjong set inherited from my father's family - bamboo and ivory (actually my youngest sis has it) We never knew how to play properly so just used to use it as a pairing game. The tiles feel lovely to touch. Vonny :-( just popped onto general. Oh dear.

Laurie, I love the pictures of 'Wattle', adorable but *whispers* he looks like a lion not a bear!

I play mahjong when I visit friends in Jakarta . . . most of our friends when you visit their home over there after eating the two most important leisure activities are Mahjong and Karioke! We have had a wonderful day again today in the land of sunshine . . . it is so nice to not be all rugged up ! We spent the day with the boys, then this evening we went over the creek to our friends of 30years Chris & Sue, met their new little grandie K K K K K Katie - just 5months old, fabulous to spend time with close friends that we have shared so much with over the years. Suzy, so glad the medication yesterday worked wonders for Neville . . . I take the liberty of prescribing repeat doses at the risk of being sued for malpractice by the honorable Dr Lew! Off for some shuteye will catch you all tomorrow cheers luv Laurie

Von, so glad you like the look of Wattle bear, because he has been given the job of travelling with you to make sure you are safe . . if he looks a little like a lion than all the better for keeping you safe. As soon as his case is packed he will be on his way to Canberra ready for the trip! Cheers luv Laurie

Trifley

Trifley Report 11 Jun 2006 13:25

Trifley wonders into thread....tiara slightly askew and trailing her boa. Evening fellow Wafflers. I don't know about the rest of the Brisvegas meeters.....but I'm shagged! I don't know why....all I've done is walk miles around the art gallery, the casino, markets and South Bank (twice!). Danced on stage with the cast of 'Menopause the Musical' and sung bawdy songs at the top of my voice while drinking champers. I just can't understand why I'm soooo tired. I had plenty of caffeine, so you'd think that'd help.....but it didn't. Of course it did have a strange effect on Anna. Her eyes were spinning at 1am on Friday night when we finally went to bed. And we had a reasonably early night last night....about midnight. Perhaps it was the champers and singing back at the hotel last night which tired me out. Well, what ever it was...I'm gonna have an early night tonight! What started off as a bunch of strangers, meeting in Brisvegas, ended up as a group of new friends having a wonderful time. The conversation , food, drink and laughter flowed from the time we met.....we got on so well. I'm so glad I went and sorry some of the other Queenslanders couldn't join us. I think a mini meet, perhaps at Tamborine, would be a fantastic idea....just let me get over this one first!!!!! Now I promised, or should say threatened, Rebs, Terry and Anna I was going to tell all on the thread but I don't want to embarrass them. I don't think you need to know that Anna says 'sacino' instead of casino when she's drinking champers and that she knows some bawdy songs. Or that Terry's eyes nearly fell out of his head when he saw Rebs cleavage. Or that Rebs boobs nearly fell out a few times, nearly but not quite. Much to Terry's disgust. Nah....you don't need to know any of that stuff. I'm off to make some hot chocolate and settle into bed. Sweet dreams all you lot and may all your troubles bit little ones. See ya tomorrow. love Trifley X X

Goodnight Trifley You didn't mention I had to steer you firmly in the opposite direction every time one of Nefer's relatives happened to walk by. Good grief - you are a worry Trifley. Hope everyone is home safely - thanks everyone for the piccies. I'll have a go at downloading mine tomorrow. And yes - we did have fun at the sacino............!!!!!! Goodnight all Luv Anna

HEALTH WARNING.................A combination of too much caffeine and champers makes you prone to exaggeration. And to think I was so considerate and discreet with my first posting. Trifley, you are shameless. Well tit for tat.....pardon the pun !!! Our Trifley really needs a new name. Poor Anna and myself were totally mortified whilst waiting at the station to see Trifley wriggling her hips about and waving her boa at everyone who got off the train. What a tart !!! If the boys could have seen her it wouldn't have Lew Lew getting the straight jacket award let me tell you. And I did not nearly fall out of my dress, Trifley just wanted to draw attention away from herself. But Anna really did know a few bawdy songs, I had to cover my ears to protect my innocence. It's always the quiet ones you know !! ;-pp
