Little fluffy yellow duck Report 11 Jun 2006 05:43

Hi SuzqQ Rebs went home with the Queen and 'her boys'!! Last saw them being ferried down river. Don't forget we didn't have Lew Lew to lead us astray. Donna, you did miss a really good day but the little tiddleywinks must come first. Pam

Hi Donna, Maybe a mini meet on the Coast, there would be a least Trifley, you and me. Hope the dish washer is okay, mine is a sink, dish cloth and tea towel. LOL Not much to go wrong, except dish wash hands. Now, I want to know why we can't have a party on here every week end. Sorry Pam, Forgot Lew wasn't with you. SuzyQ

Hi everybody, first of all thanks Suzy for the photos, I've only just tuned in so to speak, had great excitment here today, went to the dump then did some gardening. The photos are great you all looked as if you were really enjoying yourselves, and why don't we have a small meet at the Gold Coast one day? sounds like a good idea. Jillx

Sorry Dragonfly, where are you? I am from Bradford Yorkshire so I know all about grotty. You just gotta shift your self and come to Oz, it's great and the people are greater. Hi Donna, thats a good idea we will work on that. Jill, are you moving? Where to? SuzyQ

Suzy we are planning to get this house on the market next year and then we would like to move up to Hervey Bay, we know the place very well so it shouldn't be too much of a sea change. Jillx

Afternoon all :) Sorry Dragonfly, that's the upside of being down-under :) miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches and georgeous scenery :) Someone has to live here. O'Reilly's is great - but it's not near the coast!!! Vonny

SuzyQ Report 11 Jun 2006 06:40

Jill, Gallery Walk is on Tamborine Mountain. Donna suggested that because I live at one side of it and she lives at the other. O'Reilly's isn't far from me either. Tamborine to the North and O'Reilly's to the south east. Harvey Bay is very popular now, especially amongst retirees. Dragonfly, I am so sorry for you, but as Vony says some one has to live here and I suppose some one has to live South of Heathrow. LOL How is summer going for you. SuzyQ

Suzy, great recipe for chook if you like chinese, take one chook and leave alone for a bit while you do other things 3or 4 cloves garlic smashed and chopped about 1 tbls shreded ginger and 2 or 3 star anise soy sauce sherry, ask Trifley for some if you don't have any chopped up spring onions little dash of sesame oil place some garlic, ginger and onions inside chook put a little oil in a saucepan big enough to hold chookie baby gentle brown chook all over add rest of the ingrediants. okay now you're going to ask how much soy and sherry, enough to come halfway up side of chook,if too strong tasting add a little chicken stock but watch the salt content. have the chook on it's breast to start then half way through turn on to it's back let it cook slowly. ps still taste good without star anise but they do add extra flavour, luv Jillx

Hiya guys, just got back now. Lies, it was all lies I tell you. I was on my best behaviour. No really, I was. Sorry, to say I don't have any dirt on the others either. What went on at the casino, stays at the casino. hehehehehe !!! Have to say though, I couldn't have met a lovelier bunch of people. Basically what you see on here, is what you get. No pretentions, just straight forward peeps who are a pleasure to spend time with. And I've learnt how to wrap Terry around my little finger. lol !!! Off for a coffee, cut up again later. love Rebs x Big apology to Suzy and Shazz, after saying Sth Bris station for the last two weeks, I said Southbank in my last email and stuffed them up. lol !!! *runs away red faced* ps, I've got a few lovely photos. If anyone would not like theirs on the photo page please let me know. I know it's anti-social, but I'd prefer not to have any of me on the public pages please.
