Both of which were true...she was legless and liked a drink |

In the land of my birth, it is customary & an honour for (male) family members of the deceased to carry the coffin. |

It's a matter of choice Caroline, you choose to say that about a relative, Sharron chose to say what she said about a friend, the reporter chose to report it because they wanted to. |

Caroline I would wait to get your post above RR'd as well but, sorry Rose, it actually made me chuckle. |

Oh I'm sure I will get RR for telling what actually happened....and as for my father he was always rather 'armless even the night he was so drunk he barked back at the neighbours dogs think it was a New Years Eve.... :-D |

Nyx the differences between the choices you mentioned was my comment and that of Sharron didn't have to be read....the person that chooses to take offence when none was intended affected everyone by having it pulled/RR'd. That is not needed censorship for the masses. |

I'm sorry but as far as I recall the title of the original ( which seems to be years ago now, talk about flogging a dead horse!) did not actually imply it was a thread about a dead person with no legs and a drink problem ? Did it? |

I certainly have not said Sharron intended to offend btw. I don't think anyone said that. |

No offence to Sharron but I'd say the vast majority of her threads have humour in there somewhere in some form or other. Might be best for the itchy fingered one to not read her threads at all. |

Probably so Caroline. |

I've just come in from a day out and read this thread. |

Joy Louise, I also agreed with your reasoning on why the original thread 'might' have been reported. |

I can't see the point in analysing the whys and wherefores of a thread being reported - we need the person who reported it to explain. |

What have you been up to now Sharron?? Not been on here for a while and see this! |

In all honesty as we all know GR don't listen 99% of the time no matter how sensible your comments are, haven't done for years. If they did then Nyx your suggestion would be good. |

If you wanted to hear gallows humour, you should have sat around a fire station mess table after a particularly nasty "job". It was a coping mechanism. |

I read the original thread , and did not find it amusing ..... |

I trust you just tutted and turned to another thread (my reaction in such circumstances), as we all have a different sense of humour. :-D |
