Ann, the photo is original, but it's been around . May even have been on Photobucket. The squares I believe were to identify.. One of the earlier components of MS Office had that feature.

ah I see, unless you have the original in your photo programme I think you will not be able to fix it, unless maybe you know an expert with photo shop who could copy it and work on removing the squares. Maybe you just have to live with it.

I ended up doing a bit more than pottering after all. We cleared all the cupboards and drawers in the units in our living room a while ago but never really finished spring cleaning the room so I've dusted down all the walls and cleaned behind pictures etc. The next logical step would have been to wash the paintwork but I didn't feel in the mood for that so I've cleaned up the 2 leather recliners and separate footstalls and polished the coffee tables. Why have we got so many? There are 3 fairly large wooden ones and a nest of 3 glass tables. I also tidied up a couple of plants in there and washed coasters and cleaned the table lamps and a standard lamp. I'm exhausted now and OH is just getting us a snack lunch.
I've emailed round a couple of garden pics.

Afternoon all
Dull but dry here today after so much rain yesterday and into the night. OH helped me re-pot the climbing Fatsia yesterday, so that's in the side garden and had a good drink thanks to the rain. It's about 4 foot tall now, so doing really well and to think it was a tiny cutting less than a year ago.
What a lovely surprise to have all those tomatoes in 2018 Island and now some lovely Runner beans as well. I liked the way you said you weren't falling for the dust again after dusting and it coming back........so funny. :-D :-D :-D
It looks like most of you are having your hair cut, what a treat after all this time. I'm like Mel and have very long hair that needs washing over the bath as the sink is to small, so I don't go to the hairdressers either.
Congratulations to your Granddaughter Vera, you must be so proud. How strange having your plant change colour to Red, at least you have two for the price of one right now, even if you didn't plan on having red, it still looks pretty. Would it work if you cut the red ones out and just leave the colour you want for now? If it turns completely red next year you could move it. You have some lovely flowers in your garden, maybe the red could be put next to the yellow, they'd look nice together.
Sorry to see you haven't had a good nights sleep Jane, I hope you managed to get off okay in the end. I see Thomas is back now after his disappearing act the other week. I hope things go better at your next Chemo session and you don't forget your steroid again. Loved the pic of the ducks, how cute were they.
Love the pic of your feeding the Robin Mel, how cute was he? I didn't spot him at first he's that small. It sounds like you were very busy cleaning all your windows yesterday, it makes such a difference doesn't it? Pity you can't reach the one in the loft though. Would your OH be able to do it for you?
Oh dear Ann, that's not good having a brawl and using weapons, I wonder what caused it all. Thankfully you're okay, but it's a bit of a worry if normally it doesn't happen. I hope you can have your hair cut soon and there isn't any trouble around when you go.
I'm the same as you Flappergirl, not much to do today now all the washing and housework is out of the way, it's still to wet to do any gardening. We're waiting for a good day of nice weather so we can tackle the front garden, it badly needs weeding. It's nice to see it mature though after starting from scratch a couple of years ago when the big hedge came out and the new fence went in. All the neighbours comment on how nice it looks, although they having said it for a while, probably because of all the weeds LOL, so we need a good full day of nice weather to tidy it up again.
Sorry to hear you can't remove the two squares David, I don't know enough about Facebook to help. I hope you can sort it soon. Have you thought of asking Facebook for help, they maybe able to sort it for you. I hope it's sorted soon.
A couple of our windows misted up a while back AnnG so we had to have the double glazed glass replaced, Luckily the frame didn't need to come out as well and it was a fraction of the price of a new window. I hope Charles can fix yours in the same way.
I wonder if Frank and Ros are home today, it'll be nice to hear how their holiday went.

Afternoon All
Ann and Mel, I'm making hexagons. I have seven already joined together which have bee lurking for some time so I thought I'd make enough for a cushion cover. The seven were left over from a throw I made. I'll try not to make too many this time but crochet is quite therapeutic. I also have a cotton top on the go. My list of UFOs is quite long :-D
I'm not one for keeping the hairdresser flush. I've got quite well behaved hair which doesn't grow very long, I chop my own fringe. If I go twice a year that's 'often'.

I don't know if AnnG replied to me by mistake but I got the reply to Vera's email.
Vera looking at your pictures you sent of this year and last year is that the red plant in front of the mauvey one not flowering last year? There is a panstemon in the picture with no flowers on it?
I hav'nt either of those colours but would love cutting if poss please? Mine is a pink one. I did buy a white one down the hsop but it died and it was'nt cheap either.
Done lunch, we had fishing sandwiches, egg and tomato. Oh always calls them that as thats what he used to take when he went fishing.
Gill how are you getting on with your tree?
Wonder if we will hear from Frank today. If they have come home maybe they will be too tired to let us know they are home safely. <3

Mel, no it wasn't actually an error I pressed return to all so everybody got the answer. Sorry to confuse you, so used to doing that with our U3A group emails.
Just posted your seeds.
Island I think we have had this conversation before I wish I could crochet.
I spent an hour or so this morning clearing out three drawers of my desk to create room for the painting stuff. Lots of stuff now to go to grandaughter in law when we go up so she can do things with Inara.

Afternoon All,
Dull and a bit humid here so I potted up some more lettuce and planted some pots with more of the self set Snapdragons in the greenhouse first thing and put more ties on the toms. The self set toms seem to be getting bigger than usual for the gardeners's delight variety, so I suspect the pollen came from a bigger variety!! Just hope it wasn't those beefsteak ones or they could be tennis ball size! :-)
Jane I know just what it's like laying awake in the early hours, in my case due to discomfort, but with your treatment being tiring anyway, it must make you even more exhausted the next day. That must have been weird feeling the cap leaking as it must have been cold too. We tried one of those large yorkshires with chicken and veg inside a few weeks ago and we found them a bit chewy to eat and swallow. It sounds like little and often is better for you. At least you enjoyed the cake later! I like the quakers you have next door, but hope Thomas doesn't find them too interesting.
Mel, you will be in the record books with your hair soon!!! I think most of us find our hair gets a bit thinner as the years go by. I really don't like the smell of hair so even in my teens would wash it every other day, despite mum's complaining about the hot water I would use. I didn't like the cigarette smell in it as they both smoked. Now I wash it in the shower almost every day. OH has always been the same as, even with little hair his scalp gets greasy. His beard gets washed too and sometimes he does that twice a day.
AnnG we have a lot of misted panes we were going to get done this Spring. We have more cases of the virus than you, (our council district shows there have been 484 confirmed cases just in our part of the county), so we will wait a bit longer to get them done. OH has someone coming to collect a small folderful of the programmes tomorrow afternoon. He is putting the cash in an envelope and not coming inside, so the envelope of cash will be left in the porch a few days to decontaminate.
Vera your Penstemon are looking good, but it is strange you have the red ones appearing. Your garden is looking very colourful and full of flowers though. When I first set our back garden out I wanted it to look warm, so had no white or blue flowers. It was all yellow, red, purple and orange (including orange Penstemon). It was so hot though, being mostly south west facing and with lots of gravel, I had to introduce some cooler shades eventually! Your neighbour is certainly spreading her shopping around, but she must be paying a lot in delivery charges unless she is getting other people's shopping as well.
Mandy it seems a lot of hairdressers are being really careful to protect everyone which makes you feel better and safer. I'm hoping I will be half a stone lighter once mine is cut! :-D Some hope! lol.
I can just imagine the taste of your runners Island, they are my favourites too. I even checked ours this morning.......not a bean in sight, just flowers (red and white ones)!

Forgot to say to David........I think the photo you mean is the one in your FB avatar? That photo is from the 'My Heritage site' (shows up on the photo). That site has software to edit/add to photos so could you remove the tag squares on there? It's worth having a look. If you still have the original photo, can you not re-scan it?
I am going to do some needle felting now. I have left some pasta to go cold in the kitchen ready for tomorrow's lunch. Vera has given me the idea to do a chicken pasta as I have a sauce in a bottle (wish I had the genie too!). I would prepare and cook the rest but can't bang around in the kitchen as OH is working away on Zoom in the next room with 4 meetings. At least I have peace and quiet for crafting though. :-D

When I was a child, a small boy, I went to my Mother crying. I'd not long been put to bed. What's the matter ? she asked. I replied "I'm scared of the dark". Get back to bed David she said, there's nothing in the dark that isn't there in the day light. I returned to bed and went straight to sleep.

No not yet Mel. We had a lot of post today and I'm sure they must save it up as we seem to get nothing for a day or two and then a load. I just got OH to put his gloves on and double check it all as we leave it 24 hours before opening. I did spread the envelopes out on the mat with my outdoor shoe to look for it this morning as well. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.

I'm assuming the photo you put on My Heritage originally didn't have the boxes David and that somehow they appeared? If so the photo on My Heritage must have had face tag enabled somehow, so to cut and paste it would still have the face tags on as that is how it will look on there. (at least I think so but it is worth a try). If you are certain the photo didn't have the boxes when it was uploaded to My Heritage, could you join again say with a month's credit if you can do that on there? I think once you found the photo on there there would be a menu that says something like, 'face tag' or 'face recognition' that you could turn off to clear the boxes from the photo. Then you could cut and paste the photo without them on. If there isn't you could see if there is a 'help' anywhere to look and failing that you could contact them to ask how to do it. I have never used face tags myself so am not familiar with them.
If the photo was uploaded to My Heritage with the face tags already showing, then I think as AnnG says, you need someone with Photoshop to remove them.

I forgot to mention earlier,
Remember way back when I told you my aunt was on Nick Knowles "Home is where the art is" ?
It started this week and her's is the last one at the end of the series.
In the opening titles she is the first one they show, on the right. She has red hair tied back, with a fringe and she's wearing a grey scarf. Her friend who's on the left has grey hair and glasses with a red top. I think my aunt's show is on 24th July.
The programme is on BBC.1. at 3.45pm, not sure if it's suppose to be on every day as it wasn't on today, but it's back on again tomorrow afternoon, if anyone's interested in watching it. I've been recording them so I'm about to start watching the 2nd one as I missed the first one. At least the one I missed wasn't the one I really wanted to watch. ;-) ;-)
