Morning Mel, morning all,
Very cloudy here this morning and there's quite a wind so I have just hung two pairs of jeans out so hopefully they will get dry before we have rain later .
I expect a lot of the delivery drivers will be asking if they can sign and it's a good idea as it means people won't have to hold the machine that the poor chap will have to hold after they sign .
Oh Ann I think that necklace is my favourite one of all the ones you've made and you've made some lovely ones ,I love the colours and it would go with any thing you wear and a matching bracelet will be nice too.
Doctor rang and he's put me on a Statin, the scrip should go to boots so will get DIL to pick it up for me , I've still got my tickly cough so haven't been out and will keep in as they say for 14 days .

Hi Mandy. Hope the tickly cough improves soon. You should get on ok with the statin but remember you can't eat gratefruit anymore. That was my favorite fruit and I look longingly at them in the supermarket especialy the red ones. I used to drink the red gratefruit high juice too.
Ann just love the rope necklace and as Mandy said will go with a lot you wear. Be interested to see the flat braclet to go with it. Will a flat one be easier to make?

Morning All,
Dull here and it was rainy first thing.
That was a good idea for the man to sign Mel. I think I will order those beads after all and ask the courier to do the same if he isn't already doing that. I think the beads were about 84% off just now. It's Nosek's Just Gems if you wanted to look but stock is very limited now. Yes, I do freeze cooked rhubarb and freeze cooked apple so I could do that and add the crumble after. I needn't take up freezer space with the crumble if I just make it when I need it as well.
I hope your throat tickle soon goes Mandy. We will all have to do the same now just in case it is the virus. OH still has a bit of his cough. I bet your jeans will soon dry in the breeze.
Yes, I think all my beading friends have become a bit addicted to making different ropes now! I'm not sure whether I like my flat bracelet I've started Mel and it isn't easier at the edges, so I might do a rope one like the necklace after all. The pattern is very easy to follow on youtube. You just need size 11 seed beads and superduos. (these are what I have been buying at discount on the site I mention ).
I have just rung the hospital booking number to cancel my appointment on the 30th with the knee surgeon and the line was completely dead!! There is an email address to use as well so I will send an email.
Sainsbury's are going to make their first hour of the day for the elderly and vulnerable from tomorrow. One of our garden centres that stocks food as well sent an email saying they are doing the same yesterday.
My other 2 workshops with the lady that was on Kirstie's Christmas progs is taking precautions with sitting arrangements, but has offered refunds now or vouchers for future workshops with an extra £15 voucher to use. I think with things being so uncertain I am just going to ask for a refund.
The trouble with rationing is that people will have to go out and mix more if they are shopping for others as well as themselves. The greediness of some does need stopping though.
Shower next as it doesn't look like a day to do the garden first.

Good morning all, a very grey day here, not really cold 12 degrees out there but not pleasant like yesterday and the day before. OH is working in the greenhouse, he has taken some of our old baskets and painting them blue with garden paint. He did a couple last year and is now doing a few more.
we seemed to have a late start today by the time that we had showered and washed hair etc, then we decided to use some oldish bacon up in sandwiches for breakfast so I have not done much except answer emails and messages on the computer.
Not much washing in the bin, bedding was done yesterday but I must shift and clean the bathroom. I can see 12 weeks being frittered away doing nothing at all really!!!!
Annx I said bracelet on my email reply to you, I meant necklace of course. If you don't like what you are doing best to stop and start again. Yes, good idea to canncel that appointment, awkward if you can't get hold of them, sounds as if they have disconnected the phone.
Mel, it rained here overnight but not much looks a bit brighter out there now.
Mandy we have been on statins for many years now and never had any problems with them. So you should be fine.

Afternoon All
We finally have the heating back. The engineer hs been here all day today and has virually rebuilt the boiler!!. It was a much bigger job than expected. At least it means we dont hve to have a new one. Poor chap had ot drive all the way to Leicester at lunch time to pick up a spare part .
Mandy I hope your throat soon gets better and you have no more symptoms.
Everywhere is shutting down now. All our theatres and I think cinemas have shut.I see the British Library too has closed now.I can see before long we will all be under house arrest .
Vera you got the day after us for the Tesco shopping delivery :-D. We are going to keep checking to see when we can book further weeks.Chris did his last shop at Waitrose this morning . He got there for 8 when it opened .Lots of loo rolls then but 20 minutes later he said the shelves were empty again!. We have plenty now :-D
Mel thanks for the pics of poor little Robbie (RIP)
I have to start my wee collection in the morning ( must remember ) When I tale it in to the hospital on Friday morning I am going to take a disposable mask with me .I know they say they dont do much good but even if I am protected for the short time I will be there I think it will be worth wearing. I see in the news one poor man who had Motor Neurone Disease has died and he was from here. He was only 45 :-(
It is miserable outside with heavy drizzle mizzle .Thomas came in all wet had a wash and is now back out sat hunched up on the summerhouse step. Silly thing.

Afternoon all
Dull here today and we had a bit of light rain earlier. I've had a bit of sleep this afternoon, I couldn't sleep last night and didn't drop off until around 4am, I had to be up early for a phone consultation off the doctor. She made me an appointment the last time I was there for 8.40am today, but I had a feeling it hadn't been booked in so rang yesterday and was right, so they offered me a telephone appointment instead. That was a waste of time as she had a phone call to answer while she was talking to me, so we didn't speak for long. She's not giving me anymore Diazepam anymore but has said she has done another prescription for my anti-depressants, not sure they'll be at the chemist in a few days though, we will probably have to use the repeat prescription I got with the tablets she gave me last time.
The shops around here don't have much and we're having problems getting hold of toilet rolls, luckily we bought some extra last week, but will need more in the future, so all we can do is keep looking. The bread is another item we're having problems buying and the only loaf OH could find early this morning is three times the price. One member of staff at OH's place of work can't get hold of any nappies for her child, he sugested going on Amazon but she said each pack cost £40, I believe the shops are rationing food etc... to a few per person, but I'm sure families will just split up to enable them to buy more than they're allowed, OH said he noticed a couple doing that the other day. It's all very worrying now.
I've got a headache, probably because of sleeping this afternoon so I haven't caught up with any posts, I hope everyone is okay. Just watching Boris Johnson on the TV, he's closing schools for the majority on Friday.

We are going to book a mis week slot on Asda after our delivery tomorrow. I hope they can find us as we hav'nt got a sign outside saying who we are. It fell off the old fence and was never put back up.
Silly Thomas stay out in the dreary old weather after just sprucing himself up. As you say its not really cold out but so miserable and we've had that fine rain again all day.
I am going up to see if the chippy is there tonight and see if he is goin to carry on coming or not! He is going to lose a lot of business if he can't get out to places and I know he had two vans booked for the Sheb Fest because I heard a man ask if he was doing it this year a few weeks ago.
Been playing with my clay this afternoon. carrie don with something I started last week. Think it is turning out ok and when its done I shall send a pic.
I don't think I will be able to go to that shop in Torrington with my crafts now and she may not have any customers anyway.
Better get ready to do the chickens and go up for the fish and chips if he's there if not I shall have to dive down the freezer.

The Police here have issued a warning as some low life are knocking on doors of the elderly and offering to do their shopping and taking their money and disappearing with it! How anyone can be so callous is beyond me. :-S
We've been watching the PM's updates each day Gill, but they do get asked some silly questions that no-one can possibly know the answer to yet. OH thinks they may temporarily close some schools and group together the remaining children. I'm impressed how quickly some businesses are responding to particularly help the elderly and vulnerable. I had an email from another garden centre saying that they will deliver what is ordered on-line FOC to the elderly. I think the shopping restrictions will be tricky for those shopping for elderly parents as well as themselves too Gill. I had thought that some couples would take a trolley or basket each to get round the rules as well. I
It sounds like your OH could become a bit slimmer soon if you can't get his usual bread etc Mel! I have lost a pound this week already. Do you know how far ahead you can book delivery slots with Asda? I was thinking of doing an order for 4 weeks time. I hope the Asda satnav finds you tomorrow.....you are off the beaten track.
OH has just said he's been notified some of his meetings will be telephone conferences now, so guess who will have to set up our new phones for him tomorrow. He used the royal 'WE' but we all know who that means. :-) If I do it it will at least save him turfing me out of here.
I hope it's a better day weatherwise tomorrow so we can do a bit more outside again. If not I can sow some lettuce and radish in some tubs I have in the greenhouse..

Evening all It’s been a greyish sort of day here but dry and quite mild. This afternoon OH dug out several of the Japanese anemones that He wants to lose. He went really deep and got out as much root as he could. I know bits will still keep coming up but he can pull them up as he sees them. I did point out to him that I didn’t want a bare patch there with no colour and we hadn’t bought other plants to go in there. So he has planted some back into troughs and they are on bricks along part of the back fence. With other plants in front you can’t really see the bricks and come autumn I should still get a nice display of pink flowers against my grey-green fence.
I hope your cough soon gets better Mandy. Is it keeping you awake at night? Take care.
Ann, I love your necklace. Nice calming colours and it looks so professional. How awful that the police have had to issue a warning like that. They really are scum trading on elderly folk’s worries.
I’m glad your heating is fixed now Jane. As someone who is a bit of a chilly mortal I hate the idea of being without central heating, though strangely enough I don’t like a warm bedroom. You’re right about everything closing down. I’ve had several emails today from local theatres and from the Albert Hall. We’ll be isolated soon whether we need to be or not because there won’t be anything to go out for.
I wonder if we are going to get a lot of teenagers hanging around now schools are closing. If the parents are still out at work I can’t see the youngsters being disciplined enough to stay at home. I am sure it is right to close schools, theatres etc. but it is going to be very hard on some youngsters, as well as older people trying to feed, clothe and look after a family. One of my granddaughters is, or was, about to do A-levels, one works in the hospitality industry and will almost certainly be out of a job and the one at uni is just about to start her acting career. In June and July she was supposed to be working for a few weeks with a Theatre in Education group taking Shakespeare into schools but that will go by the board now.
That’s a shame about your doctor’s appointment Gill. It doesn’t sound as though the short chat you had was a lot of use for you. Try not to let yourself get worried about shortages in the shops. Life is a bit difficult at the moment but we’ll all adapt and learn not to waste anything. None of us will starve. Keep your chin up and come on here if you feel a bit down.
I hope Asda find you OK Mel. That would be a real pain in the proverbial if they drove past without seeing you. Can you put some sort of big red sign up “Mel Lives Here”? Did you get your F & C?
Today we went and got a load more compost and some little plug plants. I got some more of the million bells as I was so pleased with them last year. I wanted just one colour but there weren’t many of each colour left so I ended up with three different colours. I also got some white geraniums and something else and it has gone completely out of my head what it was. Doh! Then I went to the chemist to see about home delivery of my monthly prescription if it becomes necessary. The girl I spoke to said they only have a delivery driver for a short while and they have to make sure any disabled people get theirs first but if I ring a couple of days before my meds are due she’ll try and slot me in. It’ll only become necessary if we have to actually completely self-isolate. We can manage OK while we just have to keep contact to a minimum. The girl said there would be no charge for delivery as it is an NHS prescription. My friend is registered with Boots and has just had to pay them £60 because they charge £5 per delivery and insist you sign up for a year and pay in advance. I am glad I moved my script from Boots to Lloyds as Boots never seemed to get mine right but always claimed it was my fault! Lloyds have never got it wrong.
As we were by my hairdresser I popped in to ask if she could cut my hair in the next day or two as my next appointment booked was for the end of next week and who knows what will be happening by then. She fitted me in this afternoon which pleased me. The woman who cuts my hair owns the salon and she told me she has arranged for all her staff to take Thursdays off so she will be there on her own. She will only take a few appointments spaced through the day so there will never be more than one client and herself in the salon. On that basis I booked another appointment for 6 weeks’ time. Of course I have to take a chance that she is infection free but I think the risk is fairly small.
We’re going to get up at the crack of dawn and get down to Sainsbury’s for when they open at 7 am as their first hour tomorrow is for elderly and disabled people only. I’m not going to go mad but I’d like to see if I can get a couple of bits that were missing from the Tesco delivery and some fresh veg. I usually get my veg in the market but it can be a bit of a squash so probably better to stay away from the market at the moment. Of course, if I get there and find every elderly person from miles around is there too, I won’t bother. I’ll just use frozen veg and go without the other bits.
As usual I’ve typed a great long screed. I’m now going to give son a quick call and see if there is any news of DIL coming back from Florida. Have a good night’s sleep everyone. See you tomorrow.

Ann thats a good idea to sow something in tubs. I do that each year. I put the cut and come again lettuce in a big pot on the decking but I hav'nt done radiishes I did beetroot last year and they worked well. I buy those long ones so you can get a few slices out of one beet. I can't put anything in the ground cos the deer eat it and I have seen a rabbit in the orchard and over the back field.
I just had a look on my order as I can add to it up until 11.59pm They now have crossed out a lot of things as out of stock. Mayo my baccy and papers

Morning all
Cloudy here today and very cold, but so far dry.
It sounds like you had a lovey time away Frank, meeting all those relatives. It sounds like it was a big party with almost 200 people there, pleased the B&B was nice and clean, we had to stay in one once when the insurance were sorting out a flood we had in the house and it was filthy with an electric socket hanging off the wall, needless to say we never stayed there again.
Pleased to hear James had a second interview Jane, did they offer him the job? I hope everything is alright for Hannah and she isn't to bored self isolating for 14 days. Oh just noticed it's not her self isolating. Good idea to keep away from you for 14 days though, better to be safe than sorry with her being in contact with the other 2 work colleagues. Good to see your boiler is working so you can put your heating on and have hot water now.
That was good news from the nurse with your test results Mandy, I'm pleased it went well. I hope your cough eases soon.
I love the necklace you made Ann, it's very pretty. It sounds like you and your OH have been very busy in the garden, it's still a bit to cold here for us to do much, OH has cut the grass again, but that's all he's done so far this year, I need to re-pot some of my plants, but like I said it's to cold to do jobs like that at the moment.
That's good you've had your tooth sorted now Vera, I bet it feels much better. I hope if you go shopping early you can buy the things you need. OH went early to Aldi this morning but even though they had a delivery they still didn't have any toilet rolls. I'm now thinking of making toilet rolls out of kitchen roll by cutting them in half and splitting the sheets so they're not to thick to put down the loo. Not sure what we're going to do when we run out though. Someone sugested to OH to use newspaper.......not sure about that. I hope you can sort your dishwasher delivery out if it's not delivered tomorrow, I'll keep my fingers crossed you are lucky enough to have it tomorrow. You can always wash your dishes by hand I suppose. Thankfully it wasn't your cooker that broke isn't it?
Oh AnnG, what a to do with your holiday in Cornwall, surely they understand why people need to cancel holidays, so they shouldn't just take the money when they know you won't be going, I hope they can't get it with your OH's card being changed. Some people can be so awkward can't they? Pleased to see your other holiday has been sorted, let's hope you can still go by September and this horrible virus is over by then.
What a shame your order has things crossed off Mel, I think it's the same everywhere, lots of empty shelves and even deliveries to the shops don't have everything they've ordered either. One man told OH this morning that the warehouses don't have things either.
Going to get a drink now, then watch a few programmes I've recorded, my planner is almost full.

Dull and miserable again today and mizzle too just like yesterday. It dos'nt do anything to hightan the spirits does it?
Really messed up my online grocery order. I added lots of things but did'nt go to the pay bit so they have been put on the next order and the only slot is 7th April. We have now paid for 12 months. So annoying as it was all showing on my list so I thought it would be there. Lots of bits out of stock though.
Suppose I will get used to it eventually. Just as well I have a chest freezer which is usually full anyway with meats and bread.
Must fill up the bird feeders and do the chickens now as I hav'nt got round to them yet.

Good morning (just) all. A very wet rainy day here and only 5 degrees outside. We seem to have filled the morning up with doing very little, one load of washing and one load of that in the drier, some stuff put up in the loft, dinner sorted and in the slow cooker for tonight, managed to get a large pack of mince on Tuesday with divided easily into three portions so one portion for tonight and two in the freezer.
when we shopped, because I want the potatoes I had bought to last I bought three for two containers of mash. We have had it before (Tesco) and you can't tell it is not freshly made so a couple went in the freezer and we had one last night with sea bass fillets. I think the hardest part is retaining interest in producing meals, we are so used to eating out at least once a week. I might get a bit repetitive. Luckily OH is very easy to feed.
OH has been down the greenhouse and planted rudbekia seeds which were free with Gardeners world magazine and is now on his computer, probably messing around with photo programmes. Time to catch up and answer posts. Jane oh great you have heating, horrid when that goes wrong and definitely not what you need at the moment. I hope James Interview went ok, not sure how easy video interviews would be. I hope you remembered to syart your collection off!! A mask won't protect you will protect others from you and might make you feel more safe. Gill What a shame the phone appointment was not any good and a waste of time. Yes the toilet roll shortage is a nuisance as well, you and OH will have to keep trying to find some. I am pretty certain the kitchen paper or newspaper will block up the system and, if the blockage is on your property you would have to pay. do you have any on line neighbourhood groups. I am not sure if you are on facebook but there are often some on there. If you have you could ask if anyone knows of a shop with TR. sometimes the small local convenience stores have them. Maybe tissues if you can get them would be a better substitution.
Mel, did you get your fish and chips? Strange things seem to be out of stock on the on line orders You wouldn't think Mayo would be sold as much this time of year. Maybe have a go at making your own (I never have). And perhaps now is the time to give up the baccy!!!!!
Annx there are some really nasty people taking or trying to take advantage of desperate people at the moment. We had that warning as well, and also one about two men (not in our area, who were door knocking and asking if people wanted to be tested for Covid19 and charging them over £100 for a fake test. Yesterday I saw where a nurse going off duty from surgery when she got to her car three low life teenagers were trying to break into it and smashing her window with a BB gun which they then turned on her. I don't think she was hurt but very shaken to have to face that after a tiring day.
good idea to get on with planting lettuce etc in tubs. Not sure I will do that this year as it was not successful although lettuce might be a good idea as it grows quickly.
Vera I did read somewhere that over 70s will probably be told this weekend to stay at home.but I also read you can go for a walk and go for a drive as long as there is likely to be no contact with people.
I too wonder what will happen with all the teenagers who are shut out of schools. they don't see any danger in the virus (sorry that is a generalisation, many of them don't) and if the photos of St Patricks day in the bars somewhere (I can't remember where) are anything to go by, they do not intend obeying government guidelines, in fact they were jeering at them. Parents mostly seem not to be able to control teenagers so I can see the usual vandalism we often get in school holidays. We may be pleased that we are unable to go out. sometimes they are stupid though. In the village they vandalised an overhead spotlight. what they didn't take into account was it was there to light up the skate park which has now had to close. And, being right by the parish council offices there will probably be CCTV evidence. Your plants sound nice, I love lillion bells and have used them for years in my baskets, I only realised their value in the garden two years ago when I planted one on the wall across the front of our conservatory it gave us a wonderful show for a long time only dying off in October. Our hair appointment tomorrow has been brought back from 1pm to 10.30 so I think we will probably be the last customers. I usually have mine washed cut and blow dried but, as I shan't be going anywhere I think i will just have it wetted and cut and will blow dry it at home.
It is still raining here but we had no plans to go anywhere of course so I had better get off my B** and do something useful. stay safe everyone.
:-) :-)

Afternoon to you all,
Feel like a lorry load of S@@T, terrible night, and now a dicky tummy. I need to be put in a SACK and have a good SHAKING UP.
I see on the news that an old couple went to Sainsbury's for the 1st hour OAP shop. The PLACE WAS HEAVING WITH PEOPLE. So that didn't last long. I just don't understand people. How many toilet rolls can one or two people use. One couple in Peterborough, had a large trolly each, both packed with Toilet rolls. They could hardly see over the top of them.
On Monday Ros had to go to hospital (Bladder appointment) We called in at Morrison's and got most things we needed. i.e Vegetables, tined soups etc.
Lewis has offered to come up once a week to do any shopping we might need. The freezers are both full, as always have been. We will work our way down them both. So will only need Milk, Veg. etc. and of course my BEER.
I hope you are staying well clear of crowded places, with a lot of people. All Ros's clubs have all been cancelled until further notice.
Roast leg of lamb (QUITE SMALL) for tonight. I have done the Pots, Parsnips, brussels, runners, carrot and peas.
Now going to see if there is any news on my Sister. Then back to my armchair.
Take care out there FOLKS, See you later. xxxx

Oh dear Frank ,sorry you are feeling rubbish today.I hope you are p to eating your nice dinner tonight.
Mel can you not make a temporary sign to put up to make sure your food delvery arrives . Having been to yours I can just imagine how hard it would be to find your place.Drivers have to deliver on time I think otherwise they can get in trouble. It is a pity we dont have the butchers/fish/greengrocer vans etc that used to come around .

Thanks for all the suggestions on loo roll. Tissues is a good idea, luckily I have five small packets from years ago when we went to FIL's funeral, I remember we could only buy a bulk buy of 8 small packs at the time and thought we'd never use them all, now we can, although they won't last long. OH's going to try the petrol station now to see what they have. My freezer is full, (I only have one small one), of mainly bread, I think we have about 4 or 5 loaves in there, OH needs bread for work, so I'm trying not to eat much of it as I can have other things.
That was nice of Lewis to offer to do your shopping Frank, it'll save Ros having to go out. I hope all went well for her at the hospital.
It sounds like you're all managing to find things to do, I seem to be sleeping a lot and have just slept again this afternoon. I'm very tired lately, even though I had a good nights sleep last night. I have a number of things lined up to do, most of them jobs around the bungalow and garden though. I do need to go through all my drawers and wardrobes and have a bit of a sort out, I always seem to put things in drawers then forget they're there, so now I need to go through them all. That's how I remembered where I'd put the tissues, well I say I remembered OH had to tell me where they were as I'd forgotten, they're now in the box along with some extra tinned things we can't get into the cupboards. I've got some tinned potatoes and meat as they'll keep and although not very nourishing will make a meal if push comes to shove and we don't have anything else in we can cook. I just hope the shops can still get their deliveries so at least they're something to buy each week. I don't know how to do online shopping so will stick to OH going to the shops when he's finished work.
I've just found out my SIL's evening wedding party has been cancelled. She's getting married again on Friday. I'll have to let OH know when he gets in.

Afternoon All,
It was dry here first thing so we went in the garden and I pruned half of one of the big shrubs and OH did more weeding including the pots. The new big garden bin is coming into it's own. It began to drizzle heavily then so I left OH to clear things away while I found some pick again lettuce and some rocket seeds to sow in small pots in the greenhouse. I needed to sit down for a while then, but also found some in date radish seeds to plant tomorrow. I must see if I have some beetroot seeds too Mel as that is a good idea and I think the last ones I had were with the long roots. If I have any they are probably out of date now but I will try them as often a proportion will grow.
AnnG I know just what you mean as we eat out most days normally. Luckily OH will eat mostly anything you put in front of him so he polished off today's fresh salmon with roasted red and yellow peppers and brown rice moistened with a hollandaise sauce. Then an apple and a yoghurt. Now when we are shopping, if OH says we have plenty of something, I have to keep reminding him we will use far more of everything with eating at home now. We have noticed that the things we have all the time like brown bread, skimmed milk and muesli are the last things to disappear off shelves so have been able to buy those up to now. I remember now what that tin of lentils was for. I was going to add some to portions of mince to help my diet and with some onion added too I don't think OH will even notice!! lol. I will try it and could then freeze half of what's in the tin for another time. The packs of mashed potato have really come on haven't they. We buy the Sainsbury's ones and their frozen mash is very good too.
Gill, I told OH we may have to resort to newspaper squares like my grandma was still hanging on a nail in the outside loo when I was little, if things get really bad, and that we could burn it up the garden if we did!! We have always bought the 24 packs of loo rolls so already had plenty for now. Good idea to cut down rolls of kitchen towels though. This is the time I wish we had a bidet!! (I was a long time posting and didn't see Jane also mentioned bidets)
We aren't going anywhere now till OH takes his car in on Monday, not even fetching the newspapers that are prepaid till we get the vouchers for free delivery. We get The Telegraph delivered anyway.
OH says his schools will be giving work for pupils to do at home so that should at least keep some out of mischief. All those that will still be at school are to be fitted into 2 schools..
The new Wii remote arrived today and the courier kept his gloved hand at the other end of the parcel as he handed it over.
I hope you soon feel better Frank.

Afternoon all,
Dull day here but dry , we stocked up with loo rolls and kitchen when we went to Makro a couple of weeks ago we have all that we need ,we always bulk buy on those so we haven't really bought extra as that amount is what we always buy , we also bought flour ,t bags and coffee in bulk and its what we've done for years now and we share with son and DIL.
Frank i hope your dicky tummy is better so you can enjoy the nice meal your preparing .
Gill i think the water companies we're warning people not to put kitchen roll down the loo ,as AnnG said you could put it in the bin like they do in Greece ,when we had to do that on holiday i thought it would be a horrible thing to have to do but it's surprising how it doesn't smell even with all the heat of the day ,their pipework just couldn't cope with the paper .
Jane i'm not really sure if we will have the girls ,talking to DIL she said the schools were going to send work on line so DIL was going out to buy more paper for them to work on ,they have plenty of books to keep up with their reading . DIL works evenings and she said the ways they have to clean has changed ,they have to leave the hovering and concentrate on wiping every thing down, not just the door handles now they do the whole door ,not just the seat and back of the chair but the chair legs too. One room at the surgery is locked and sealed as they had some one in with suspected virus so thats locked for 72 hours and then it will have a deep clean . Our surgery has had a deep clean too.
I feel ok no other symptoms just the tickly cough,no fever and Colin is fine but i don't want to talk that one up .
Mel i wondered if you would get all your order as i have heard lots of people say they haven't had a lot of things . I remember when son and DIL did an on line shop years ago the first time they ordered what they thought was one bunch of Bananas and when the oreder came they got One Banana !!!! :-D And they also ordered two lots of Pate ,when it came they had ordered twenty !!!!! :-D DIL said i thought the button was stuck so she kept pressing it :-D
I meant to say when Colin went out to bring the wheelie bin in i gave him a wipe to use on the handle ,when you think of all the bins they touch you can't be to careful.
