Hi All, have spent the last couple of days at son's house, THE GRASS IS GROWING, it was a WOW moment when I went on Saturday, looked through the french doors to a sea of green, must have been the lovely warm weather of the last few days. He had me smashing and bashing the old tiles off the bathroom wall yesterday. One flew out and hit me on the forehead, didn't think anything of it till son came to see how I was getting on, he nearly fainted, I had blood trickling down my face, it looked worse than it was, just a scratch, but it was a bit sore this morning.

I am going to send you those photos now of Alfie and the ones of the squirrel

Frank Report 10 Oct 2010 18:51

Evening all, It has been a smashing day. I just sat outside till 3.30pm. Had a cup of tea, and watch a documentary. about Sharks, Made me think of my Son diving in St. Vincent.

Jane, Funny how you thought of one of your Mum's sayings. Lewis is now saying "BUMCHEEKS" When he get cross. It had slipped my mind, till you said that. Whats all this eating outside, with no "BRA" on. what will the neighbours think. You will have to go to a fitter not the "quick fit fitter" unless you need a new spare tyre.!!!!! I'm in trouble now. !!!!

Mandy I knew you would be down the Coast today, I felt it in my water !!!!! I bet it was great.Wish I wasn't so far from the sea. I loved my sea fishing, we were on the sea every two weeks, I do miss it. and in between boat fishing we would go Beach fishing. Never had any trouble at home, I was never there.!!!!!

It's a loverly sunset out there tonight. It makes you want to go and dance round the lawn in your noddy. But she wouldn't let me.!!!!!

MillymollyAmanda

MillymollyAmanda Report 10 Oct 2010 19:03

Well Frank ,i wouldn't want to go dancing round out there now in the nuddy i've just let Toby out and its really chilly out there !!! its enough to freeze your bits!!!!!
Will your water let me know when i'am going to the coast again !! lol
oh and i forgot to get you a Crab !! sorry.

Jane

Jane Report 10 Oct 2010 19:03

Now Now Frank don't get too excited. It is a lovely evening but there is a little nip ,and you don't want that nip getting near your 'nethers' lol
I have plenty of spare tyres going ,so I don't need a new one !!!!!
I loved that email of the under water diving Frank.Just fantastic!I would love to do that ,but I would just panic with the breathing underwater.I have tried a snorkel and I just cannot do it.

Evening All,

It has been a lovely day hasn't it. Mandy how nice to speed off to the coast....ohh and you said the tempting F & C words again!! lol Scrumptious!!

It sounds like your son is having a great time Frank.......if only I was braver about flying!!

We visited FIL and MIL today.....in their lounge stood the fridge freezer they bought in January this year. OH asked what were they doing and it was the usual thing it was a bit fiddly with the shelves..........another new one is being delivered Thursday!! We just looked at each other in disbelief. I just hope their car keeps going. lol

We went for a walk along the canal at Stoke Golding after and I had a Victor Meldrew moment. I was taking snaps with my camera and got one of a bridge with a barge coming through and some cows crossing over the bridge above. They were being brought in for milking I think. Anyway, they were stopping to peer over the edge at us and I got more pics, then we walked under the bridge to the other side and stopped. Suddenly I felt a splodge on my head. Oh no I thought.....I bet a flippin bird has been taken short and dive bombed me!! lol I put my hand up to my hair and when I looked at it, it was brown, watery cowsh*t!!!!! Yukyuk. One must have flicked it onto me off that bridge as it was being 'produced'.OH roared with laughter, doubled up, tears down his face and couldn't talk for a minute or two. lol He said 'only you could get crap*ed on by a cow crossing a bridge above you'. When he composed himself he did clean me up with his hanky and then found more down my back. For the rest of the walk I was sporting new 'highlights' in my hair!! lol As soon as I got home I jumped in the shower.

Jane.... I've been speed dating and really it's just a bit of fun. I went with two friends and it was just a night out. Some of the people there might be 'desperate' lol....but not all of them ...I went for a meal with a few of the chaps I met...and they were really nice. There was a Pilot... Radio Broadcaster.... and also a GP lol. We could only be friends though and nothing was ever likely to develop. My brother is quite 'serious' and quiet too - so finds it hard I think. On the plus side, he is very attractive (so my friends reckon) and sincere. He's willing to try anything once. He even went on a Singles holiday .... The only interest was from another guy... Hey, he wasn't interested into that lol Says he won't be trying that again lol
I've tried intoducing him to some of my friends... He says they are like me... Mad lol

Mandy, have to agree, fish and chips at the seaside ...can't beat them.

David, you are right about bras. The trouble is you can buy a certain size and different brands vary. Trying to find one that is comfy and fits well...isn't easy. They reckon most women are actually wearing the wrong size. So a visit from Sadie...sounds like a good idea.

Well...lots to do........

Frank Report 10 Oct 2010 20:18

Annx, That what they call being SHI# on from great heights.!!!!! I must admit when I read that I had a real belly laugh.
Mandy, If you forget to get me a crab next time, you will be in trouble.!!!!

Mel, Do hope Mum is OK. have you tried her with egg custard, would go down easy, and would give her a bit of flavour in her mouth.

Jane you could always go diving in Wickstead Lake. never know what you might find.

Catie, Did the children enjoy their bike ride.??? After all that fresh air, and a bath, they should sleep well tonight.

Jane

Jane Report 10 Oct 2010 20:19

Ann!!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness you didn't have those new highlights on Thursday.I don't think Fitz or me would have wanted to sit next to you lol. What a shame your OH didn't have the camera when you got SH** on.I have been in stitches here just picturing it.It took my mind off your Inlaws Fridge Freezer!!!

Catie I wish there had been speed dating when I was 'Free' I would have loved it lol.Would I have gone for the GP???? Maybe not.I think I would have chosen the Radio Broadcaster.

I am so pleased with myself tonight as I have cooked the best scrambled eggs I have ever done. They did not stick to the pan lol

Maureen

Maureen Report 10 Oct 2010 20:24

What's going on with these computers, are they all on a go slow !!!!!!

Mandy, what's happened to that diet .... fish and chips ..........

Catie. know what you mean, why can't we get chatted up by a George Clooney look alike.... or whoever tickles your fancy ... instead of a fat old bald geezer who THINKS he's a George Clooney look alike !!!!!

Annx

Annx Report 10 Oct 2010 20:33

Will be signing off now. I expect most of us will be watching Downton Abbey. I like these period dramas.
