Evening All,
Just popping in before the church programme followed by the Kibworth programme. They are covering the the period of the plague this week.
OH has been fiddling with and peering at his neck today. There are black blobs where they removed the tags and he says he looks like Dracula had a go at him!! lol
Hope your son is much better now Shirl and that you can sort things out ok.
Mandy, I bet the little ones were thrilled with their pancakes......we only ever had sugar and lemon juice on them when I was little. I bet the little girls will be full of it when they get home Catie. It is good they are mixing with their friends, it will help them to adjust. Your tenant seems a decent sort wanting to right things with your neighbours. Hope things will be ok now.
Mel, as if you don't have enough on your plate! Hopefully SIL will see how useful she can be just now and will roll her sleeves up a bit.
I never ever went to a birthday party.......ahhh! I did get asked, but mum wouldn't let me go because we would have to invite them back!! I don't think she wanted the bother. I did feel left out though.

Good Morning Everyone.
Sheila, my thoughts and love are with both you and your family, as you say goodbye to Matt. I have sent you a message xx
The sun is with us today. I'm off to Cambridge shortly as my OH is through to stage 2 of an interview selection process. I've been told to be on my best behaviour lol
Mel... Hope your hubby is improving now and your mum is still managing to eat. Thanks for asking about Mark. He's over 8lbs now and a gorgeous little boy :) I love to sit and watch him. He's starting to use his hands more and is sucking his thumb lol. The girls sing him songs and when he's feeding, he stops sucking if the song stops. When the song begins, he carries on feeding :)
Fiona...Hope Sophia is well on the road to recovery.
Jane... Enjoy your day with the mystery visitor lol
Shirl... Hope your son continues to improve and OG behaves himself. He sounds a handful lol
Will catch you all again tomorrow.

Morning Catie and All,
Suns out again but very heavy dew this morning. A proper autumn morning. Think we are in for a St Luke's little summer.
Mum is'nt eating much at all now so I am going to ask the docs about a drink for her on prescription.
Oh's leg is still about the same as when he did it.
Sheila you are in my thoughts today. Hope everything goes off ok and things should improve after you have said your goodbyes.........................
What a lot of money for the funeral!! but if thats what he wanted I am sure your daughter will respect his wishes ans he will have his special place. It is a wonderful thing.
I only ever came back with a piece of birthday cake from parties too. As you all say wrapped up in a serviet(sp).
My eyes are chestnut I think. I was born with brown eyes which they tell me is unusual as most babies are born with blue eyes and then they change. Mum has blue eyes and my dad had Hazel eyes, His mum had truely hazel eyes, they were brown with a blue ring around them. They fasinated me when I was young. It was just as if the brown bit had been painted around with pale blue.
Lovely to hear about baby Mark Catie and that sounds like a good weight to me.

Forgot Shirl!!!!!!!!!
Hope you won't be too rushed off your feet with looking after your two men Shirl. Love and wishes to them both. You must feel happier now that you can keep a better eye on your son. Three hours drive must be an awful long way away.
Frank love to you and Ros.
David hope Ellen will feel a bit better soon.

Thinking of Sheila ,April and Jess and all the rest of the family this morning. Must fly .BBL
Catie,Chris always tells me to behave if we go anywhere important, and not to be too gobby lolol. As if I would.

Afternoon all,
What a lovely sunny day it is , i've been out in the garden clearing up some leaves and moving pots about and the sun is really warm !!
Thinking of Sheila and her family today as they say their goodbyes to Matt.
Little Mark sounds as if he likes the girls singing to him Catie, he sounds a contented little boy too ,funny how some little ones like to suck their thumb, Chelsea sucks her thumb ,the other two never have . Katie now has two teeth through at the top ,with the two at the bottom i don't think mummy will be putting her fingers in her mouth any more !!
Think i'll have a bit of lunch and get back out in the sun shine .

Mandy, I'm the other way around.Have put in the rest of the bulbs, more wallflower plants (grown from seed). Cut and trimmed both lawns. Cleaned the mower. sweept up the Patio. I'm finished for the day.!!!! Going to nsit either outside or in conservatory, with my book. Almost finished it. Got plenty more to keep me busy.
Hope Jane and Ann had a good lunch and a good natter.
For what it matters, out of 10 children and Mum and Dad only two had BLUE eyes. My twin and my eldest brother. All the rest are/had BROWN.
Trust everybody is well and enjoying the sunshine.

Where OH dug the bank out and other bits of the garden I have a load of daffs, snowdrops and hyasinths bulbs to get back in the ground. Bought 200 crocus too!!!! Fool, I never seem to get them in and then end up throwing them away after the slugs have had a go at them.
Shirl I am sure you will feed that boy of yours up now you have him with you.

Hello !!!!.Ann has just left.We have been down at Fitz's place since 12.45 lol.Ann has found out soooooooo much about his G Mothers family ( the one that became her guardian). On the way down the lane to Fitz we spotted 2 Red Kite sitting on 2 fence posts in the horses field ,and a Heron sat in the middle of the field !!!.It was quite a sight . I haven't read the posts yet from today ...just thought I had better pop in and say Hi. Ann will now be on the MI on her way home .
