Poor Ros, I bet she had a bad night too being woken up with all your activity Frank!! As you had been so active in the night it is not surprising that you feel tired today.

Mandy poor you being gased, thats because he had'nt had any food for a while and his stomach is full of wind but it will pass!! Excused the pun!

Morning All,

I had a bad night too Frank, my cough is improving but I felt sick a lot of the night after that awful fish I had!! Sat propped up most of the night. Feel better now but no appetite for anything. My OH sometimes has nights like yours. lol Knocks things flying and duvet on the floor.

Hope Ralph's op goes well David...will be thinking about him.

Mandy what huge tablets!! Are they designed for horses I wonder. Good job you managed to crush them.

Mel, can I see your fairies please?

I watched Victorian Pharmacy last night........fascinating the paper folder for the powders, just the same as the Bee*cams ones we still get! I love the programme.

Jane Report 6 Aug 2010 13:48

Frank Report 6 Aug 2010 13:48

Jane, Just had another shower, I got soaked, Ros had a line of sheets and pillow cases out, and who had to go and get them in ????

She is so busy at present. Its the Canal Festival this weekend. She was asked, to make some cakes for the Scouts Fund, for a new club house. She been baking since 8am and is still at it. The bungalow smells like a bakers shop. Lemon drizzle cakes, chocholate sponges, and various others. She will delivery them later, to the scout sleader, so they can get them sorted for tomorrow. I expect we will show our faces in the morning, but will be off to Weldon about 2.30pm. for Bar B Q.

Ann yes I will send you the fairies in a minuet.

I too like that program Victorian Pharmacy and the folded papers reminded me too of Beechams powders. Everything nowadays is in sealed envelopy things that are hard to tear open!

Still thinking of Ralph.........................................................................

Jane Report 6 Aug 2010 15:31

Hi Mel and everyone .Mel sent you a thank you for fairies
I do apologise that I did not say thank you before now but I have had terrible problems with the computor it was going off and on and sticking. I sent some photoes not a lot and do not know if anyone got them because I went to send the
mail and the computor went off that was the third time it seems to be alright now. Jane and Ann sent you some pictures also in reply to yours. One of Beryl I forgot I had
if you want to see her. Not much like Beryl Cook pictures
but they are so funny. I have a really bad sore throat and the weather is dull and windy sky grey and it is driving me
bonkers and that does not take much. bysie bye sheila. I hope Toby does not take off with all that gas poor Toby that is not nice. I hope Ralph is ok and you all get a better nite
Been reading all the messages you see.

I'm having problems with the computer too. If it goes any slower it will stop altogether.

Have had quite a few viewings on mum's house, and one offer £30,000 below asking price but we will hang on and see, I think it is overpriced but I guess then we can come down, if it's on at the right value there's nowhere to go. How are things with Hannah's house Jane, or should I not ask !!!

Annx

Annx Report 6 Aug 2010 17:40

It can't be an easy time selling a house now Maureen with the recession. When I sold my last house over 10 years ago I upped the price from what the estate agent said, accepted a lower offer and still made £4000 more than the price the estate agent suggested. As you say, you can always come down a bit. Fingers crossed xx

No pics yet Sheila.....

The old boy at the farmers shop has died last weekend age 81. I used to get eggs from his farm in the 60s!!!! He developed farmers lung that killed him.....such a shame. The girls say he was the driving force there. It makes you realise these occupational diseases are still around. We used to deal with the disablement claims for this at work.

Is Toby perking up Mandy and still taking his medicine ok? Hope he is not trying to scratch anything!!

Jane

Jane Report 6 Aug 2010 17:52

Maureen ,we are keeping everything crossed that this sale on `Hannah's house goes through this time.I'm not sure how she will be it it should fall through again.
£30 ,000 less seems a bit of a cheeky offer Maureen, but as it has just gone on the Market I would hang on a bit if you can.
I am in the the throws of a massive hot flush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,my face is like a beetroot, and the fan doesn't seem to be doing much lol.

We thought we would go what we call the back way to Norwich........the blooming road was closed and we had to go the other way ,i've never seen so much traffic !!! usually takes us only Twenty minutes to get into Norwich, got to remember never to go again on a Friday !!!

Just incase you were wondering ....Toby still has a GAS leak !!!!! oh he does stink !!

MillymollyAmanda Report 6 Aug 2010 18:15

Jane

Jane Report 6 Aug 2010 18:24

I have sent on Mel 's Fairy to you Mandy and Ann

Annx

Annx Report 6 Aug 2010 18:30

Jane I seem to remember that it is caused by breathing mould spores from mouldy hay, straw that sort of thing. Psittacosis (sp?) is a lung thing too caught from birds as you say, often parrots, but also a health risk from large numbers of pigeons in cities.
