On ITV tonight you would have enjoyed drama of Joe Maddison's war.There was potted meat sandwiches,Jitterbugging and people walking about on tin cans lolol

Morning all,

Daff's high temp continued throughout yesterday and she spent most of the day dozing, being very hot, not being able to eat anything, and taking little fluid - they eventually put up a drip to rehydrate her.
Hopefully today wil be a little better, and I'll take in a selection of 'nibbles' for her to try (everything taste's like antiseptic smells, so I'll not risk Spam or dripping this time !!).
Today's the day I've to try and get a couple of tablets down each feline...so I'm on the look out for a bee-keeper's outfit, or perhaps the old style deep-sea diver suit...even a pea-shooter, perhaps??!!! :(

R, if you didnt manage to get the pills down, the way we do it is to mix a crushed pill into some of the smelliest cat food and offer it that way. Sardines are good. one of our past cats was thyroid and had to have daily pills.

I hope that Daff is feeling a little better today and that she has been able to get a little food down .

regarding cats and pills Jeans tip is a good one , I usually go for hiding the tablet ( if it's a little one ) in something like corned beef , first give a little piece of plain corned beef to the " victim " then present the laced one . Under NO circumstances let the cat see what your doing or you won't stand a snowballs chance ! Good luck .
