Daff was absolutely fine, Ann, and we all had a fantastic day in the sun, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. She probably mislaid her phone:)

Well Maz has been whooshing round the thread like a Dervish (sp?) so I am sure she will have watered it. Glad you had a good time. I was trying to text daff to send my love to everyone. More likely she had her phone switched off, or the battery was flat!!!!!!

morning all , you could pick your coats up !!!yes I watered the aspidistra BC and i cleaned out the hooverl ,I washed and ironed the curtains and the cushion covers instead of spraying febreeze about lol
i have a busy day today here am going to begin the garden at least cut the grass amid painting still my son is going to do the high walls in the stairwell then i can potter on next week .the washing is in

Ann, no sign of your texts at all... but Susan's voice message was recovered this morning, lol.... I am afraid that it must have gone off when I couldn't hear it.... it was a bit noisy at our end of the courtyard...... wonder why that was????? wmsl!

I had a lovely time..... it was so good to catch up with everyone, and meet new faces as well.

I have to say, I am ready for a sleep, now, lol.... and then I'd better think about sommat for dinner!!

Every time I sent it Daff it said error, don't know why, I had the same number as Susan. Hers went straight to voice mail apparently. Are you sure it was switched on? Maybe there was no signal for your phone there.

Yes, it was fully charged,, switched on, and in my bag all the time...... that is strange, isn't it? As you said, maybe there was no signal in the pub courtyard!

morning all rather dull after such a lovely weekend .i was good yesterday grass had its first cut it was so long though it will need another one by the end of the week . I need to do the edges and weeding but i am going to crack on with the stairwell today to enable me to chill out later on in the week

Good morning, a bit cloudy here and not so warm, actually we had a cold wind here yesterday.

Mummo, not a bad weekend, a bit mixed, did some gardening and some craft work but I have a painful arm (doctors this morning before Daff jumps on me), so I couldn't do too much.

Morning all:) Sorry your arm is hurting Ann, did you do too much gardening? Hope the Dr sorts it out for you and Maz don't overdo the grass cutting and make sure Gizmo is out of the way! lol

Lovely day here but it certainly got chilly last night. I got up late so have to rush off to park. My poor feet are only just recovering from the heels I wore to the Meet. Vanity!

Morning all.... I went to bed for a nap at about 5 I think, eventually.... and just woke up at 8 am!! Well, I got up for two pit stops, and an oil change, but straight back to sleep...... R got up late, and is now rushing to catch up.... he is back in work today, he had last week off, so is going to be late... not that there is a problem, he just leaves later as it is flexi time.... but he won't be home until late, now.

BC we didn't throw any plates... I was disappointed!! So I broke a glass back at the hotel. Accidentally of course, but it did scratch that destructive itch, lolol

All the cats have now forgiven us.....

Ann, what time is your appointment? I hope it isn't too sore and doc can sort it.

BC, I don't know what is wrong with my arm it just started hurting with a burning like pain not muscular I don't think. I thought it was going to end up as shingles but no rash or anything. Thought I had better get it checked out as it is so strange. Appointment is 10am Daff.

Good luck, then...... hopefully it will be easily and quickly sorted! Mwah

My back is ok, now, although it is taking a while to defrost this morning, it is *stiff* rather than sore, so I am well out of the hurty stage, thank goodness.

B went to bed at 9 last night.... so is now up and about.... it would seem I agreed to go to B & Q with him and get some wood for some raised beds!! Good idea, anyway, as when he has moved out, I shall need the beds raised a bit to look after them... the vegetable ones, anyway. The raised ones at the back I manage quite well, and they are now full of flowers coming up again, so this year should look wonderful!

But I can't remember agreeing to go with him.... I did say it was a good idea, though.... so I had better go and get ready to go out... we also need bread and milk and other boring stuff!

I can feel a list coming on, lol.... B is in the shower, so I shall have to wait for a bit, lol

Well, guess what? No not pregnant Lol!!!

He looked at my arm, felt under it, looked at the swelling by my boob, felt it (the swelling), asked if I had checked for lumps (I had). Was puzzled. I told him I also had two large spots on my back that I can't see (T told me and they are painful) and two on my front by my arm pit. He looked at them and immediately said, it is shingles.

So that is what it is, No doubt thanks to the Aldara cream!!!

But no rash as such (I have had a mild dose once before) and he told me I didn't have to keep away from anyone.

ooh nasty. And yep, probably due to the cream....... did you get any anti viral stuff for it??
