I am still fretting about BC, she hasn't been on here for two days now, most unusual, don't think she is away. Hope she is OK.

Hello all, just waiting for the rehab nurse to come she 's due at 2.00pm., she does a good job but it does mess my day up. lol........l'm not moaning really.
Lovely day here today , quite warm (mind you haven't been out )
Ann we have your OH's dish of the day for tea, nice and easy for me.
Eddie always tells me l donot need a microphone so BC .......WHERE ARE YOU., hope everything is ok.
Right nothing more to report so will leave you all in peace.

Evening all... ~~~~~~ to Ann and Mummo. no, I haven't played yet... I got me some more from Hobbycraft, because I deserved a special treat.... I am ehaustimicated!! Good thing I took the car for it's MOT and not son... they are normally very quick, as befits their name.... but they found that one tyre only had a thousand miles or so left in it... it was still legal, as were the brake shoes, but close to needing replacing, and I had felt them a bit strange, I have to say. But B wouldn't have had enough money on him, as he would only have had enough for the MOT....

So..... I took out a quick 2nd mortgage, and she is all sorted... but I was there for three hours.... and it was just a bit too far for me to attempt to walk it into the town centre... then I went and got the shopping in.... I had no vegetables at all in, so needed those at the very least.... My appointment at the garage was at 1, and I got back to the house at 6.20.

I could fall asleep on my nose... I shall be off to my bed very very soon, I think, lol!

I am off now to chill out for an hour.... or maybe just 10 minutes and then bed, lol...

Afternoon all and thank you for the 'frets'! lol Have been in hospital for a couple of days but all is well now and I am nearly fighting fit again! To Ann as I know she was worried, my boozin pal took care of doggie and the dragon lady just fretted. Well it took her mind off herself for a bit! Hope you are all doing well and that Daff is resting...yeh right....pmsl....

Pouring rain here right now but I believe yesterday was like a summers day. Am off to read the threads in case I missed something important....

Ann, no, I was in Hobbycraft by 4.15, and wandered round there.... then went into another shop to see if they had quiet kettles, lol..... kettle going on and off is disturbing R.... then in to T***o, had a pitstop and a nice cuppa, then went trolley dodging to get the essentials and a bit extra.

I have spent the morning washing, loading and unloading the dishwasher, sorting out the freezers, and filleting the salmon I bought yesterday... the bones etc are in the stock pot burbling merrily away... I have bagged up the chops and sausages, cobbler and smoked Haddock into portion sized bags... they are now in the freezer.... and I have at last managed to upload my photos from the notebook/hard drive thingy so they are safely on my computer, and all backed up, including the ones of the cats I took a couple of days ago..... Right up to date.

I now have to go and clear the kitchen. *sigh* That is what is wrong with being a domestic goddess, you know... it is such a mucky job, lolol ;¬))

Well.... I must go and empty the tumble dryer, quickly while Jethro is out.... he likes to help and his paws are ALWAYS muddy! And then I shall have a look at see if there are any gardening programmes on the telly.... are there any scrapbooking ones? I want to see how to do the stamping... and to use the gadget I bought weeks ago and haven't a clue how to play with it, lolol

Almost packed Daff, well packed plus clothes that will go in tomorrow, although they will have to temporary go in today so i can weigh the case, then there are labels to do, legs to de-fuzz (sorry too much information), hair to wash nails to do, washing to iron (T) Yes almost ready Lol!!!!

That got there quickly, posted second class yesterday !!!!

BC, glad you had somebody to look after doggie, I expect she missed you. Now rest, rest, rest. You may if you wish write a story while sitting down resting! xxx

Rather grey looking day, so much rain yesterday even my dog was furious and she doesnt really mind much. I had a really good sleep in my own bed last night and am feeling great. I didn't realise Littlie was coming this weekend Daff...how lovely for you! I found a great, big, mad looking, smiley ragdoll in a charity shop, with bright red hair, so I have (this is very childish! lol) posed her round the house and photographed her in various positions....'this is Grandma with glass of wine looking at the stars...this is Grandma with glass of wine, at her computer.'..etc.etc. am now trying to get them from camera to pc. so I can send them to the children...pmsl...

I shall now try and behave like an adult and take my dog to the park. Have a lovely day everyone...

Morning Daff and All.
It's bright and breezy here but won't be venturing out,as think I overdid it yesterday,had my first 'trip out' (supermarket shop). Had to get up through the night and promptly fell over! wish I could say it was after a good night on the wine or summick lol ah well :O( ...family tell me not to overdo things..If only? I'm very impatient to get on with life!

You sound full of beans Daff and sure you'll have another great adventure with your littlie :O) xx

The sun is shining beautifully.... have just made the second lot of sandwiches and flasks of coffee for the men in my life... one at 5am this morning, when hubby... yep, hubby, him who doesn't DO mornings, lol... got up because he needed to be in work... an hours' drive away... by 7am.

Son has just left... he will sleep for a couple of hours when he gets there, and then drive down first thing in the morning before she has woken up... well, that is the plan, anyway!! So this time tomorrow, she will be running riot through the house, lolol Can't wait...... *huge smile*

Mau, it takes time, doesn't it? I have to admit, it is hard to slow down... I have the utmost difficulty, and am trying to change the whole way I do things... I used to neglect, then attack in one fell swoop, not stopping until everything was done... but if I do that now, I lose steam about 2 hours in and collapse knackered!! So now I amble through it all, but it.builds up too much, and things just aren't done... nothing ever looks tidy, and I find it dispiriting, as I feel as though I am constantly on the go, but never finishing anything... add to that my easily distracted personality and bingo... mayhem reigns supreme, lolol

I had phonecalls yesterday, which distracted me from my intentions, lol.... plus I was busy being a domestic goddess as well...... sounds good, but not half as much was done as I needed to get done... so my list for today has just doubled, but madam will be here tomorrow, so I need it all done so that my time can be spent with her, and not fretting about other things.

hi folks i week left , well 4 days and then 2 weeks and 2 days off .I have so much to do with the wedding looming time is a premium now .I am going to make a list as i have decorating to do etc .

Good morning Daff and all. I got up far too early, thinking it was midweek, but a nice surprise to find it is Saturday! It feels mild but sky is still grey. I have two climbers I simply have to plant today as they have been languishing in bags all week.

Have a great time with littlie. I am thinking of kidnapping my two again but am waiting for better weather so we can go out and about. Their parents are waiting, cases at the ready!

morning BC you beat me but i have been good and been doing some chores while i was having my cuppa but now am eating my brekkie .its a lovely bright morning here .sun was showing all the dust up lol

It is beautiful here today... sun is shining brightly, and although we have some clouds gathering in the corner of the playground, I think they are all muttering whispers of malcontent, and nothing seriously damaging will happen.... the sun is smiling so widely, it affects everyone's mood, don't you think?

Littlie will be here about 5 pm or just after, all things being equal.... I have had to change her duvet again, because Jethro and Hermie tried to help me (yeh, right) when I was in there cleaning the window yesterday.... and they had very muddy paws. Their latest game is to chase each other through the fleece tunnel, so I think the beans and peas have had it, as well, *sigh* but then they paddled their muddy paws through the house and all over her Peppa Pig duvet..... she'd be devastated if there were pawprints on it, so I had to change it, lol


I do have some good news... yesterday, 14 of my 15 tomatoes poked their lovely little heads above the soil... and today the 15th has decided to join them, as well.... and one of the 14 has also just put out the first true leaves.... aw, bless.... I am a mummy! No sign of the cucumber, or the strawberries... nor anything else we planted, but the packets did say up to two weeks, so I shall be wearing out the carpet waiting for them to be *born* next week, lol

Well, I must go and empty the tumble dryer.... hubby's shirts for work next week, and then bring Littlie's shop, scooter, bike and box of toys downstairs ready for her arrival. Before I do that though.... I bought some more sticky stuff to try and stop those darned rugs... they drive me nuts, lolol
