Hi Jean Sorry no luck with Stephen George Nash. I looked at S.African casualties and Army deaths and consular deaths in India up to 1920 with no success. I also looked on CWWG. Zilch on all of them Regards Mary

Mary Oh my god, Ernest and Florence are my ggrandparents so he's my grandmothers brother. I never knew he even existed. Grannie always said she was one of 7, Dad always corrected her that she was one of 6. Grannie had Alzheimers and died when I was about 10 so only ever remember her being confused, but she talked a lot about the 'old days' and her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Sad isn't it. I'm all of a flutter now, thank you SO SO very much. This is definitely something to look a lot further into. What reference do I need to get the death cert and where do you get that kind of certificate from? Anthony's doing great, thanks. Had his first meal EVER this morning...strawberry jelly! Wasn't sure at first but soon got the hang of it! Lou xx
