Find Ancestors

I am trying to track down my ansestor named Herbert George Oliver. I am led to belive that he was born around October 1879 in or around Cornwall. He married a lady called May. His wife gave birth to three children: Joan, Guy and George. After the birth of his third son George Oliver, he mysteriously dissapered. I would also like to find out his possible siblings or mother and father. His granddaughter (me) is called Julie Oliver. Please tell me that you have the slightest clue who he is.

I would also be happy if anybody knows about his life (marrige, death, exact birth date)

It looks like the Herbert George born 1879, Truro also died 1879:

That might be why i couldn't find him on the 1881 lol

well herbert did not die in 1879 because he married, had three kids and dissapered :-P

I'm just saying that the one born 1879, Truro died that year, so he's evidently not your Herbert George. Do you have yours on any census? What about his wife? First name or last name May? I can't find the marriage. And again, children born when and where?

Julie...you need to give more info as that at the moment that is the only Herbert coming up that ties in with what you have said

His wifes first name was May and some of his relatives near tintagel and looe.

I can't even see a marriage to a May for him.....where & when was the children born

I am terribly sorry but all I knowis their names were Joan, Guy and George. they were all born at different times. I think that they were born 1910 to 1930 ish. :-\

Truro was NOT a PERSON, it was near where Herbert George was BORN. :-S

I know that Truro is a place not a person.
Evidently one of the 3 children was your father. Don't you have a closer year of birth than 1910-1930?
