	you can order the birth, marriage or death certificates on www.gro.gov.uk certificates are £9.25 each from the gro (never pay more than this) you will need the references given to you earlier

	only by getting the birth cert of one of his children can we check that the marriage is correct and then getting the marriage cert will hopefully give us his age and fathers name (hopefully)
