You have confirmed that the Elmers were fostering Sarah Polls daughter Laura Georgina who married as Curle. I am not sure who gave birth to Amy Jane unless it was Sarah Poll/ Burrell (wid) again.a thousand thanks :-)

She was down as daughter in 1871.

So is that the Jane 1841 to Amy Curl,that Chris has posted above?The one with William Elmer.

If Jane didn't marry William Elmer then maybe that is why the 2 daughters are down as Curl/e.

Where is Jane Curl 1851/61??,I had already searched for a Jane Curl with no luck.

I think Jane b Gayton Union should read JAMES. By Amy poll ref 1851 census above + marriage b 1851

Please can you find what became of Sarah Burrell after 1881 census( West ham see above). Sarah was born Poll 1834 kings Lynn,had 2 illegitimate daughters before and after her short marriage to George Burrell 1875 kings Lynn.
Did she remarry or die?
