For the address on the 1911 census it will cost you 10 credits for the transcript or 30 credits for the original image.
You may find her on electoral rolls somewhere ,but I have no idea where or how.
Or she may have married again.

That would be a long and tedious job
For example from ,,freebmd,,,

Marriages Jun 1921 (97%)
Kirkpatrick Jessie A B Crabb Wandsworth 1d 1067
Marriages Dec 1922 (>99%)
KIRKPATRICK Jessie Bagshaw Hayfield 7b 1880
Marriages Dec 1926 (>99%)
Kirkpatrick Jessie Tarrant Paddington 1a 109
Marriages Dec 1929 (>99%)
Kirkpatrick Jessie Toyne Grimsby 7a 1717
Marriages Sep 1931 (>99%)
Kirkpatrick Jessie Ash Leigh 8c 614
Marriages Sep 1935 (95%)
Kirkpatrick Jessie Falconer Chelsea 1a 1199

She could be any one of them ,or none of them.
But there is one in grimsby which you could try sending for first with fathers name as checking ref.
*******************************************

You will need to do the same for the others and even have to go through the quarters for free on ,,freebmd,,if they married later than the transcriptions are up to,or go to ancestry{ pay subs}and try there.

If you havent taken out their 14 day free trail you can do that and search 24/7 for the 14 days..

Have you ,,searched trees,,on here for any of them?

There is one jessie kirkpatrick born scotland 1902 with an owner called jill.
Also you can try searching trees on Ancestry.

The only way to find that out is to buy the marriage certificate from the GRO for £7 and use her fathers name as a checking reference so that if its not her you get a partial refund.

JaneyCanuck Report 14 Jul 2009 21:25

There is only one Toyne birth with mother Kirkpatrick, in 1938.

There doesn't seem to be a match for her in trees here at GR, and there are a couple of possible marriages ... one, unfortunately, to a Smith. The other is more likely, by the date, and there appear to have been two births to that marriage. If you don't have Ancestry access, someone can send you them. One of those children may have married in 1995 ... but I don't see a matching couple on the electoral roll at 192.com. And I don't see a marriage for the other possible child.

Not much help here!

Ah, hold on, one of those children seems to be on the ER. I'll send you the trail of names by PM.

I might have found a link with another tree now but they too have no name for parents of margaret Toyne,I bought 50 credits but used half of them already as when you type a name in, a whole list comes up and starts with one initial and having to browse though them all, which is taking forever and not got the one i want yet ,was looking for marraige of margaret and her marriage to brian dukes ,to see if her parents name is on there also tried to find out when and where her parents died but with not having any idea when i could spend days and use all credits without any success ,is there a easier way of finding out without going though countless names on the list and viewing them to find they not on there regards sandra

And where.

For english birth, marriages and deaths you have to send to the GRO for them,£7 each with ref numbers etc.Never pay more than £7.
You will not find both parents names on marriage certs, only the fathers, unless the person didnt know their fathers name ,then it will have just a line.
English deaths between 1925ish and 1984 have to be trawled for ,quarter by quarter, year by year, very expensive on credits, and tedious..
Maybe you should give ancestrys free 2 week trail a go,but remember to cancel before your time is up,or they take your money.

Hi Sandra, I got your PM about the info I sent you (speculative info about a possible child/grandchild).

We all hate to see you buying credits here. Ancestry is a much more cost-effective way to do these searches. Have a look at the basic UK subscription at www.ancestry.co.uk

Anyhow, there are people here with that subscription who can do specific searches. A marriage has been posted here by Mary who did that search --

>>> Mary, I am going to ask that you remove that info (1940s birth, 1960s marriage) from your post. If you had read my earlier post, you would have seen that it is obviously what I already sent Sandra **by private message**, because it is the birth marriage of people who are likely living now and have not consented to their personal details being published here. There is simply no need to put it in this thread, and the rules prohibit posting personal information about other people.

Sandra, you just are not going to get people's parents' names by finding their marriage (or birth) in the index, no matter which site you search on. Only the certificate gives that information.

For example, the only way to find out who the father of Jessie Kirkpatrick who married Arthur Toyne was, is to order that certificate, here:

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

You said you can't find whirley's thread. This is the URL again:

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1133232

If you look in the address line of your browser up above right now, you will see this:

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1154516&px=2

Change this part:

1154516&px=2

to this:

1133232

and hit "Enter" and that will take you to her thread. Then you click on her name and send her a private message with the name you would like looked up. One name you want is the name I gave you as being a *possible* grandchild of the Toyne-Fitzpatrick couple, and the name of the person the grandchild may have married.

I'm with Viv, though -- just don't know what it is you're searching for now, and where!

Sorry all,I thought I could check on marriage certificates with my credits to confirm if Ebenezer kirkpatrick or margaret kirkpatrick was named as parents of the marriage of jessie kirkpatrick who married arthur toyne in grimsby 1929,but I see now it only brings up the marriage not any details on her parents,I did not want to buy a certificate as I could be wrong ,it looks like i will have to buy one anyway, thanks for help anyway, regards sandra

Still don't know what you're looking for ...

Do you have the parents of the Ebenezer born in March 1909? If not, you have to get the birth certificate.

For a child that young, there will likely be a parent's name somewhere on the death certificate, either identifying him or as informant. So you need that certificate too.

If what you're trying to do is match up the Ebenezer birth and the Ebenezer death. They seem rather unlikely to be different people, I would think.

As we've suggested, can you clarify what it it is you are wanting help with?

The only help we can offer in some of these instances is to recommend that you buy the certificates.
