Maz Lots of big HUGS for you and your son I do hope he is better soon. I think so many of us know what you are feeling when a child is ill. How we wish it could be us instead of our child. Best wishes Pat

Big hugs to you Maz even if they are only virtual. It must be very hard having to watch your son go through this and feel so powerless to stop the asthma. Fingers crossed that he will get through his exams with no more incidents. You all deserve big real hugs for coping as well as you so obviously do :)

Sorry Maz ..... I have been drowning in my own FT this last few days, and didn't know anything about this. Trillions of hugs coming your way ... share them around at home. I'll save the best till I get down to Hayle in August. Hang on in there ... and stop worrying ! or You'll be badly next ! Keep your son calm and don't let him feel frightened ... it makes the Asthma 10X worse. Dancer x

Hi Maz, sorry to hear about your son. It's bad enough being asthmatic - I am too - but to have pleurisy on top of that, well .................. A gentle hug for your son, and one for you too. Glenys x

Hi Maz, Just seen your thread. I hope all is well now. Don't worry too much - I'm sure he'll be OK soon. I had pleurisy when I was 5 years old (in the Dark Ages), and although I was in hospital for 3 weeks, things have moved on a lot since then, so I'm sure it can be treated much more effectively now. All the best to you and your son. CB >|< XX

Hi Maz I have just seen this too, I am sorry Michael is so poorly I hope he will have a much better night, and you too of course. I know what it's like being an asthmatic and my eldest son being one too it can be very difficult, as you know rest and and calm is a great help to make things easier. Take care and best wishes to you both. Pat x
