Yvette - the recipe for the Lemon, Almond & Polenta cakes you made sounds great, I have that June issue, so will make them now that you've done a test drive on them. I love that Delicious Maggo. Nice to know others pick things up on their walks...... On that subject we have put heaps out for a council clean up (I always pray the council will actually call on the Monday and that the junk doesn't sit there all week for a Friday pickup. Wondering how much will still be there by the time council calls as it is amazing how many people pull up and sift through your junk isn't it? Mind you saying that I picked up some amazing commerical, restaurant quality stainless steel baking dishes of all sizes just around the corner from our old house. However was very discreet about it, got hubby to pull up in his ute as I slid down under the dashboard, just in case anyone saw me. Can't spoil my image can I? Lara - Chai tea, if made properly it really is nice. I went into the Tea Centre in Sydney yesterday and had a pot and it was so refreshing. I always drink Chai both at home and work. The Indians make brilliant Chai tea. But then again can't abide that Earl Grey stuff, tastes like I'm drinking a pot of perfume! Trifley - I would be interested in joining the Lotto if possible. Does it require a Wattler Executive Committee meeting to check on our suitability????? Have a good night all Lyn

yo lyn, i have to try really hard not to scrounge junk, but you know what they say about another persons trash.... i made a promise to myself not to go to the recycling place at the dump too. some people throw out the most amazing stuff. best place to put your discards is on the footpath so it really does get recycled. our society sucks. impulse buy then discard. no way jose. as for the tea, any hot drink is worth a whirl. have you tried ginger coffee? i think its either thai or indonesian and the chinese are very good with varying cold milk and fruit teas, especially with black tapioca balls in it. theres a taiwanese shop in china town that has the best drinks!

Hi Flutterby - Happy birthday. Hope you have had a great day Yvette, Obviously you also have some little s**ts living in your area. Glad to see some locals trying to clean and clear up the area. No Lyn, this shortie does not draw attention to herself. I'm also very short and quite - (no more than) - rotund, so I do not draw attention to myself. Only 5ft 1 inch (last time I measured myself) and definately overweight, so I crawl into every corner I can find. Hi SuzyQ If Rebs wants a lift to the mini meet on the GC, I'll pick her up. Trifley, lotto sounds good - all, let me know if I am in and when to pay etc. You might be sorry to let me in, I have a really bad curse on me, maybe you can change it. Think I need Dr Lew to help (medically, not veterinrary) and yourself psychically . LOL Anna, you really are a Shakespere person - aren't you ! Jill, OMG, How could you stand there and talk to that B*****d and not kill. I hope he suffers from massive depression. No excuses !!!!!. I lost a babe to Cot Death many years ago, and I am so protective of my kids -probably too much so. I think that is why my son had so many problems leading to drug abuse - an over protective mother but I could do no else. Another subject before I sob (I still suffer). Yvette, we definately have a wonderful cook amongst us. No, 12 is definately not enough. Looking forward to the lemon cakes. Buggar that puddy tat. Dr Lew, get more than that 303. We're counting on you to stop the purring.purring, purring lol. Lara, I'm free Tue and Wed, let me know the time and place. Ok Wilson. don't rub it in. S**t , that bloody cat is here again. What is happening, surely not another big number ! Started answering this thread about 2 hours ago. Now probably by the time I send this, there will be lots more messages to answer. Luv to all Pam

the little s**s don't come from here, but the nice new housing development up the road. no room near their big new houses, so they give us grief in our litlle old houses. the young uns round here don't poo in their backyards! the cakes didn't last long either. my boys are piggies and at the moment all inside. remarkable. I'm going for brisk walk around the topic block and then its goodnight to all. actually have to work tomorrow morning , just for something different yvette x

EVERYONE - Ginger is very good for you - medicinally (sp). Nothing to do with ginger. lol . When I found out I had diabeties and couldn't have my little half teaspoon of sugar in my cup of tea, I spat the dummy and thought - don't wan't to drink my morning cuppa without sugar - can't stand sweeteners. Came accross a lipton brand of caramel tea. Couldn't find anything on the pack to say - NO - not suitable for me. Can drink it with or without milk - thoroughly enjoyable. Flutterbye, have another drink and I will also. That bloody cat is still hanging around. WHY ??? Dr Lew, do you have the night glasses on, and the cannons ready to go ? Hi Joodles Yvette, sounds so familiar pam

It would be a very long day for the cat, we are only up to 47. .. Just watch her in the morning when you wake up. .. I drink white tea, and for many many years I used saccarin, which was a no-no. (Poison) .. This year I gave up saccarin, wouldnt use any other brand, so went without. .. I still dont enjoy my tea as much as I used to, but Im getting used to it now. ... funny thing is, when I was a kid I drank black tea like dad, with sugar, he used to bring me a cup of tea and toast cut into strips before I got up ( because he did it for Mum as well) - could have been that I wouldnt get up till I had it - I can't remember ! Joodes, just try the lipton brand of different teas. A couple I like, but my fav is caramel - need no sugar and no milk if I am out (down the road having a barbie on the waterfront). re cat - maybe 50 is a milestone for this silly little pussy.
