I'm hoping I won't have to. I'm hoping that he's leaving them all at home. However, I heard that he took several stuffed animals to a previous meet so am getting very worried now.

Ah, sorry to hear you are feeling that bad Rosie. When my youngest was 16 he was difficult too, but hope your's turns out to like mine is now - he's nearly 25. Although he still has his moments, but he's turned out to be a fine young man. Keep ticking him off if he's not towing the line no matter how fed up you get. Mine has often thanked me for sticking to my guns even though at the time, I felt like giving in. Good luck.

You've never come across Daniel Longman in the threads? Really? Oh you lucky girl!!!! Interesting...hmmm that's a word for him. He flirts with all the older ladies, (he's only 17) but his heart belongs to Lemon Nelly. He's interested in taxidermy, criminals, gore etc. He's soon to be a published author and he plays truant from college a lot. He claims that the bus didn't turn up or he forgot the time of his tutorial hmmmm I think Lemon is planning on a wedding. I don't think Lemon shares Daniel with anyone or anything! lol I've a feeling the creatures may disappear when she weds. Lemon says I can be the wedding planner (must remember to tell Polly). Think I may suggest an armadillo shaped cake like the cake in Steel Magnolias lol ( I don't expect anyone to remember it)

Rosie. The whole bloody world is a laugh!! The life we make is a laugh!! But, if, like me you want to look at the serious side of it then do it at a time that seems right. I have been driven to dispair on more than one event. I was left alone with three children to bring up in 1995 when my partner and then husband died. I was soooo!!! down that i could not beleive there was a tunnel at the end of it. It took me sometime before i realised that the tunnel was of my making! One step at a time. that is my motto! It was two years before i met my present hubby. I look back and can not beleive how down i was till then. Speak out and you will be heard!! There are plenty of ears on this thread and plenty of friends in the making. I am with you one hundred percent on how down you feel. 4 i have 2 lads i treat them the same yet they are soo diferent i dont know how rosex joy i think my 16 year olds av dropped and he does sort of sound manly but i wish he could be my little boy again lolRosex
