I have to say I wouldn't have done anything different Steve - so don't beat yourself up. Your sons wellbeing came first and that's totally natural. Hope you manage to sort it all out. xx

Hi Gwyn He has had 3 attacks in 17yrs he only needs his inhailer in an emergancy but coz he does not need it from one month to the next he forgets when its run out hence this mornings wee road trip Sxx

Steve don't mean to sound harsh or anything..please don't take this the wrong way....it can take one attack to become fatal. i would'nt want this to happen to anyone..but i'm affraid it does with such devastating circumstances. Gwyn xx

Just phoned the ward his temp is coming down but his heart rate is still elevated so he is staying put for a little while longer Thanks all Sxx

Steve,You did what any parent would do.Just hope that they take that into consideration in court (if you have to go) also, it might be a good Idea to keep a spare Inhaler in your bedroom for future reference ( if needed) then you will always be aware of where it is in an emergency, I hope his recovery is Quick.Best Wishes, Hal.

Steve, dont post a lot now but read this and just had to say, So glad you acted on instinct, my brother lost his daughter aged 10 through a bad asthma attack, she was at her g/parents and they didnt know what to do. So you did the right thing and well done . Wendy.xxxxx
