Too much waffle going on.

What did we need?

She's gone into hospital
The baby is born (and [possibly] weighs...)
The baby's name is...

Say 3 mins x 3? And that's it!

I'm actually enjoying all of this, bit of light heartedness in what seems to be a rather sad & uncertain world of the times we live in . :-)

I am waiting to see them leave the hospital, after that it will settle down again.

I doubt the name will be announced until they have introduced him to the rest of his family.

Really pleased all his grandparents saw him in person before we did too :-)

ZZzzz Report 23 Jul 2013 18:48

I'm with Mildred Honkinbottom, it really is good to have some good news there is way to much bad and celebrity type news some of which is to sell papers than keep us informed. :-(

It will only go on until they leave hospital, with a quick return when the names are released. I was surprised to read that the names have to be passed by the queen before they can be released.

I think it is lovely, all new babies are beautiful, a new future king is special.

Nolls from Harrogate Report 23 Jul 2013 19:03

OH! Come on you folks all the bad/sad/horrible news we get on TV every day and the first wee bit of good news and your complaining we were only told about the birth just over 24 hrs ago tut tut .... I'm not a great Royalist but the birth of a baby is joy plus it's history, So Chill :-D

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 23 Jul 2013 19:05

As with everything the media does, we get overkill!

I am an ardent royalist and have been enjoying most of it - I just don't want reporters who have nothing to say telling us the same old thing time and time again and seeing repeats of repeats of repeats.

It's nearly as bad as those constant replays of football matches....... ;-)
