Which brings an interesting point really ( interesting to me lol)

As a 'legal advocate' the person would be bound by confidentiality to keep the letter if one exists until Brady's death...would a 'mental health advocate' also be bound to that? I assume so.

Watching the recent dramatisation of the role of the advocate for Fred West, unable to pass on details of their private conversations (if I recall that correctly?).

Which begs the question, if it were you would your promise to the profession's code of practice be over-ridden by a morality/sense of justice that can't be written into a contract...a moral obligation to the victims stronger than an obligation to the 'rule of law'?

they are still not allowed to keep quiet
any information that prevents the burying of a body
or the proceeds of a crime
if she is guilty of this she is disgrace to human kind

maybe she has a book to come out after his death i wonder :-(

Rambling Report 17 Aug 2012 13:11

According to the news, she has also taken on the role of executor of his will, and it is in that capacity that she may have felt unable to pass on the letter...

I will not type my verbal response :-D

Kay????

Kay???? Report 17 Aug 2012 13:35

At this time-------from that woman as its reported its a letter within a letter thats to be given to Keiths mum......whats actually in that suposed letter is still a mystery,,,,,,,but its a speculation it could detials of where Keiths remains are likey to be found.........if there is a letter it maybe just to inflict more injury to Winnie Johnson by saying sorry,,,,,that is what I can imagine it to be from this cruel evil minded sod......

If the woman knows whats in the letter she needs to get it handed over if she has any sense of morallity and decencey for another a dying mother whos spent the last 40+ nightmare years yearning for her lost boy...

hope she gets charged with something even if there is no letter as what shes done is nothing short of torture for the Bennett family.
and then move hi to Scotland and remove his feeding tube and just let the bugger die ,hes commanded and courted people to his own advantage for years always some plan hatched to get his name in the media. hes wicked to the core.

How about "Very Boring Police" Rose :-D

Merlin

Merlin Report 17 Aug 2012 14:02

I believe (I may be wrong) that it is only Solicitors, Doctors and Priests who are oblidged to keep secrets till death. also ,They could have used "Skalpoline" to get the details out of him,But that would be against the Law and his Human(If he could be called that) rights.**M**.

~Lynda~ Report 17 Aug 2012 14:31

I only wish that before these stories "break" the press know what they are talking about.
At the moment, the bits I have heard/read are, Brady MAY of said or written something to the woman, she MAY of kept it to herself. Must be awful for the family to hear all this, although they probably know the full facts from the Police. All the speculation as to if/ why/what/where is of no use to anyone, the story should come out whenever they are FACTS.

As for the woman being odd for working with Brady for so long, I've worked with rapists, murderers, paedophiles, I'm not odd or sick, or want fame, it was a job I did, and I switched off as soon as I walked out of the door, I've always been interested in crime, so I worked with it, without doing any any myself. I know there are odd, weird, sick, mental, nasty evil people, but know I'm not one of them, but working with them, if you have the right attitude, gives you a view on the world from all different perspectives, I found it very interesting, maybe that makes me odd to others, but it doesn't to those who know me :-D

Merlin

Merlin Report 17 Aug 2012 14:42

I can,t see that as being "Odd" Lynda,It gives you a good insight as to what makes people like that tick, and could help in futire investigations.**M**.

aivlyS Report 17 Aug 2012 14:53

Well said Lynda . ..

Rambling

Rambling Report 17 Aug 2012 14:56

Lynda the family were made aware before the news broke publicly apparently,

"Her arrest was prompted by the police receiving information on 30 July from documentary-makers who had interviewed her as part of a programme about Brady that will be aired on Channel 4 on Monday night."

Presumably the documentary makers have what she said on tape or video so that she 'said' there was a letter, is probably proven...whether there is or not remains to be seen.

I don't think it is 'odd' or that people are 'odd' for working within the criminal justice system, it must be very interesting...it does appear though that she 'may' have operated outside of her remit.. that too remains to be seen.

supercrutch Report 17 Aug 2012 15:08

This news is being kept from Keith's Mother according to her solicitor and I hope it stays that way. The woman is too ill to endure more false hope (if that it is was this turns out to be).

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 17 Aug 2012 15:27

it should have been kept under wraps until there was something concrete to report

Keith's poor Mum has had enough - for most of her life she has been searching for Keith - heartbreaking and so cruel

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 17 Aug 2012 18:21

Weather it be media speculation or the truth, I wouldnt be suprise if such a letter exists, Brady the spinless creep is nothing more than a control freak, he should of told Winnie Johnson years ago if he knows were Keiths body is buried why wait to tell when he is dead for the big reveal, something if one of the only things he has control over.

StrayKitten Report 17 Aug 2012 18:39

i hope tht whats written is true and winnie is finally going to get to put her son to rest, before its too late for her,

i cant eve begin to imagine what she has gone thro all these years :-( :-( :-(

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 17 Aug 2012 18:56

I'm usually a supreme optimist about most things but not with this - it's just one more of his sick games - if he really wants to die my son says he will happily do it whenever he likes - and I'm sure there are plenty of others who would be happy to polish him off - when I think what it must have cost this country to keep the scum alive - Hindley too - it makes me very angry
