Frank, the family ticket was for two adults and up to three children .
We never paid for the children ,Jake was only five in May so i told a porkie and said he was four !!! we had to make sure he didn't hear because he could have piped up and said nooo i'am five LOL

It was Five Pound to park the car !! and ten pound for four coffee's !!! in them old paper cups !!

No Mel i never bought anything ,most unusual for me LOL
If you go to the show today ,they sell all the plants and flowers off.

Clouded over here but still really muggy ,i've got the fan on .

I burnt my little finger on the oven shelf ,now got a blister forming .

Mandy, You are a tease, Des O'Conner, ??
Mel, Mr Mel is doing so well (excuse the pun) with the pond, Will it take long to empty the WELL. A frien of mine has one and an electric pump, He uses it to wash his cars and water the garden. Never got it empty yet.

Mandy, You know what children are. Drop you in it up to your neck.!!! Coffee 4 for a tenner. I think I will get a caravan thingy and park by these places, and make a fortune selling coffee, tea, cakes, bacon sarnies, you name it I could make it. But there again, you would get moved on by the police.
We are lucky when we go to Woburn Park, Ros gets in free as a dissabled Blue Badge Holder and me too as her minder. We only have to pay a reduced fee for Lewis. Also if we go to a place called Emberton Park, we get in free.

If you speak to Maureen, give her my regards, and hope everything goes well tomorrow.

Shirl, I did enough of sleeping on the floor during the WAR. I still prefer the comfort of my bed, When it's too hot, we have all bedroom windows open, and I sleep on top of the cloths.

Frank Report 1 Jul 2010 19:56

Our Cliff then, Jane, I am sure you will look just wonderful when you are 70. I hope i'm around to see you !!!!
I never get taken for my age. Only a few years ago, after being made redundant, I took a Sales postion, in one of these mega sites, with 10 young salesmen, I had to show them my driving licence to prove I was as old as I said I was. And that's no JOKE.
You know what they say about RED SHOES ??????

Jane

Jane Report 1 Jul 2010 19:59

Frank ,the funeral is Monday ,not tomorrow.
I have slept many times on the floor .....at over night parties (in my youth) lol ...most uncomfortable but there was nowhere else to sleep. But at that age it was fine .I dread to think what I would be like now if I slept on the floor.I would have to be peeled off it I think, and then creak around until my joints started working again !!!!

Jane

Jane Report 1 Jul 2010 20:05

I seem to remember Red Shoes being mentioned way back in the thread.I had never heard of that expression before.
I remember going into a shop to buy a packet of cigarettes after my night duty and I think I was 29 being asked if I was old enough to buy cigs lolol

Frank

Frank Report 1 Jul 2010 20:17
