Gone up market......got the latest technology in hearing aid on the bone behind the ear , you cant SEE IT !!!.....great !

And I'm down for the next up market one in 8weeks time !! where you can plug in a IPod to hear all my favorite songs ....how about that ...?

Well I'm getting down from my cloud now and have to do some housework as I have left it a bit.
Its still a lovely day and might go for walkies later.

Sue My hubby came from Dorset...Sturmminster Newton a lovely little Village ,his Grandfather owned the Cattle Market there.and was the local Auctioneer in the village.

Just had to dash outside as the rains came tumbling down. Absolutely heaved for about 5 minutes. Now stopped but got the curtains in, so they won't be going back out again.
Will have to iron them and stitch the hems up, hopefully before hubby gets back from work around midnight.

Have managed to place my godfathers family on the 1911 but don't want to pay for a copy yet. Bit of an extended family and I am sure I could find closer ones to buy first.

Linds shame you dont know anyone going to Kew records office you get those 1911 for 20 pence each last time I was there I got some of my family. Horwoods, Burrs, Shakespeare, Sheldon, McCallums and Lee all for 20 pence each. shame I am not going to stay with my sister I could have got some for you. I will let you know next time I go, not sure when that will be,.

It has got very dark here and pouring of rain but it is still very warm I had to change my skirt and top and put a thinner one on as I was so hot.

we have something else in common would you beleive my ancstors in Scotland "Dingwall " also were cattle people they had a cattle market and were auctioneers as well. the place they had was sold so I am told a few years ago and Tesco supermarket was build on the site. Hi everybody, just a flying visit. I've been out all day again, we've had glorious weather, hot and sunny. We've spent most of the day at the beach, kept bumping into family members, that's what happens when you come from a big family.

I'm off for my bath now and then have dinner. I'll read the thread first though so I can keep up with you all.

Glad you are enjoying your free time Pauline and that the weather has been better for you.
A very wet evening here. Battened down the hatches and closed the dark evening out.
Managed to iron slightly damp curtains haung one pair and don't think they have shrunk, they look as good as when I had them dry cleaned. Have to iron the big ones now and sew the hems..................... maybe tomorrow will see them hanging.

Almost double booked a weekend visiting. Going to see friends and a cousin in Worthing, another friend phoned tonight, said yes we're free, luckily realised before he hung up. So now seeing them in september. I really do need to write everything down.
