Oh, woe is me!! I have just tried to get into the 1851 census from the website page and it took me straight into the 1861 on Ancestry. Where has 1851 gone?

Okay, will have another go. I know that both people I tried are there, but perhaps it didn't recognise them. Panic has set in!! I thought that they had taken it away again.

Try this, works for me. Do a search, the result comes as 1861. In the address string in the address bar change the 1861 to 1851 and hit go. You should then be into the 1851 census as usual. Even works without opening second Ancestry window. Hope this helps, Derek
