Even though I can get into the 1851 census and search it, none of the relevant people correct to the right images, i.e. I am searching Great Ryburgh and the parish next to the individual says Great Ryburgh, but it takes me to an image of a village 7 miles away. There are also so many spelling mistakes in peoples names and places of birth, i.e. found one of my family the father's, wife and 1st 2 children the surname is spelt Olsey and all the other members of the family are spelt Elsey and again this took me to an image for a completely different county! I am not trusting this until it is up and running properly.

Eventually managed to get into it by changing the year on the address thingy but the searches don't seem to be working too well. It keeps reverting to what I had in there on the search before, particularly on the name of the county. There do seem to be an awful lot of transcription errors and some towns seem to have moved into different counties. One of my rellies was born in Henley on Thames Essex!! Can't seem to find another one at all. Think I will go and lie down.
