no a lot his name was charles archer and im told he died with military honours what ever that means

John, try search on the links that i gave you, on the cwgc just use the initial for his first name, also you would need more info, as their are 95 possibles on the national archives Roy

i will have to try and find out some more info because archer is a common name and their were a few familys born in rotherhithe thanks for the info
