John, try search on the links that i gave you, on the cwgc just use the initial for his first name, also you would need more info, as their are 95 possibles on the national archives Roy

no a lot his name was charles archer and im told he died with military honours what ever that means

hi guys can i ask were you get the info for the first world war i have been on cwgc site but i have limited info how did you come up with all the info and medal cards

Janet at the bottom of the page with his details on, click on certificate, then print this by putting your mouse on the picture and top left their will be an option for print. search cwgc, just use surname then initial (s) or use this link http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx? casualty=745655 or this will take you to the certificate page http://www.cwgc.org/search/certificate.aspx?casualty=745655 Roy

on the CWGC site, find his name, click on that and it gives you casualty details, at the bottom there are 2 boxes search page and certificate click certificate and it will come up

If you google the Common wealth grave commission site you will be able to print a cerificate which should have a picture of the monument. I am glad I could help. Its free.

The Arras Memorial is in the Faubourg-d'Amiens Cemetery, which is in the Boulevard du General de Gaulle in the western part of the town of Arras. The cemetery is near the Citadel, approximately 2 kilometres due west of the railway station. debs
