Jodi I must go to bed but I will try again tomorrow. Have you thought that maybe Anthony & Bridget took the children still living at home back to Ireland, Anthony may have died there so Bridget came back to Scotland to be with the rest of her children? Grasping at straws now. Goodnight. Georgina.

Jodi I have looked again for these Docherty's & the nearest I can come up with is this family, but none of the info fits except first names sorry..... Thank you Georgina! I don't think thats them though. They must have been living somewhere else at the time. I think it is quite possible that they left, maybe to find work, with everyone, except Mary. Maybe they all left to go to different places and returned at different times? So many possibilities! I think im just gonna leave this bit for now, come back to it later. Thank you once again for helping me, I really appriciate it. xx

One of my friends couldn't find a particular family on the 1881 census,she looked at the discs,also the film of the census amny years ago.No luck.Then she contacted the Govt people in charge of census and they told her that the particular street she was looking for had been missed out by the enumerator for some reason.
