Thank you Reg and Shirley for your feedback- The Tepper family appears to have children born in Greenwich -Joseph, David and Miriam. Then later in Newport Pagnell, that is William Henry Tepper and two other children that appear to have died near birth Frederick John and Maria Louisa Tepper. This is knowledge within the family and records and your reply show their births. I am trying to get the earlier details.location and dates for David Solomon Tepper. (their father) and his parents. This is around 1800 to 1835 .

Well done everyone - your dexterity with the records is impressive. It would seem we are converging to the limit of the databases? From the details two aspect have arisen that put in doubt some of the early 19th century oral history of my family. I would be interested in any feedback & subsequent investigations to the above.
1/ Were David Solomon Tepper (my direct relative) and George Henry Tepper brothers as our family oral history suggests. That is, Isaac Tepper was DS's father but was he GH's father? I haven't seen a record of GH's fathers name? (May be GH and Newport Pagnell Tepper's have nothing to do with my line?)
2/ You will note that my direct line relatives all have biblical first names i.e. Isaac, David Solomon, Joseph Eliezer, etc. By reference to the 1841 Parish record for JE's baptism this shows David Solomon's work was "Teacher of Hebrew". From this and the range of first names we thought we may find a Jewish background and yet there is continual evidence of the family being baptised as C of E. Any ideas how to clarify these directions?
