im trying to trace my grandmothers birth certificate.
Ethel Allen born july 15th 1902 I have search online and found nothing for her from the day she was born until the day she was married in 1919 she doesnt show on any census and I cannot trace any birth certificate for her. any advice would be wonderful.

Do you know where she was born, did she have a middle name. Was it definately 1901 as there is one in the right quarter but in 1902 in Kent.

she said she was born in tipton sedgley

her death certificate said birth 1902 although i think she could have been born in 1900

no middle name

Do you have a copy of her marriage certificate which would hopefully give her fathers name.

Do you know the names of any siblings, who were the witnesses at her wedding.

yes she had a sister Elizabeth ( lizzie) who I cannot find anything for either

she also had a sister annie who lived in macclesfield and 2 brothers harry and richard both in macclesfield. richard died in the war
a sister emma who I carnt trace either

Do you know what year Lizzie was born. Sorry it seems all I'm doing is asking questions.

How do you know her mother's name please? If she is the Elizabeth Allen shown above then surely she would be a bit old to be having a child in 1902. Grandmother??
