I know it's a nice evening but if someone would be kind enough to locate my relation above I would be most grateful.

William Garrard b. Hadleigh Suffolk UK 1851
He was a carpenter and married Louisa or Laura Brown.

I have him in 1891 at Stanley Road Tottenhamwith Louisa, but have lost him after that. He died in Sept 1931 in Sudbury Suffolk.
I am hoping to find he had a son Harry Charles Garrard born 1891, but.......
Any help greatly appreciated

At the mo going back to the 1881 census your couple have no children with them at all

Williams wife Louisa did not die until 1925 and as far as I know they were not divorced.

The only solid fact that I have with Harry Charles is that he died in Lyndhurst Hants on 18th Feb 1968 aged 77 and must(?) have been born in Suffolk about 1890 ish as his estate was distributed between my grandmother and her siblings.

In desperation I have sent off for his birth cert. I found him born 3/4 Sudbury 1890 so at least I can find out who I've been chasing this last week !!!

There is a tree on Ancestry for a Harry Garrard born 1890 Alderton, suffolk. If this is your Harry then it states his parents are William Garrard and Elizabeth Burch which ties in with Julie's posting above.
