hi everyone , is it impossible to find the marriage of george william addinall, who married a lady named elizabeth inthe 1930s, in a methodist church on bury new rd manchester without her surname. would i just have to look through church records? and if the churh has been demolished ,where would i go from there. ps george was born 1883 or 4 and his wife was roughly the same age xx many thanks mgt

MMN just means Mothers Maiden Name.

hi everyone,
i wonder if anyone can help.
george william addinall lived in york [tanners row]on the 1881 census his family all lived there but he was born a little later.
i am trying to find when his mother and father died,i have looked on some web sites but came up with nothing.i have followed some of the children and they moved to manchester,but cant find anything else for them[the mother and father.

Looks like they all moved to Manchester between 1891 and 1901. No deaths found for the parents though.

There's two criminal records possibly for Richard Snr, but don't indicate any necessity to move home or abroad.

In 1887 Richard snr of 8 tanners Row, fitter, was prosecuted and given an order for his children to attend school and again in 1894

George Addington of 8 Tanner row was committed to a truant's school in April 1895
