Alfred was born 1914 in Germany. He came to the US in 1927.

as Sadies was reg as Barnes.mmn same,,
possible .??
Willson George C /Barnes Doris, marriage.

1928..Islington,
Oct /Dec,,,
1b--571.

Sadie Barnes surname looks to be changed to Willson after her mothers marriage.

perhaps other eyes may see something else,?

One thought....

This may be a re registration under the 1927 Legitimacy Act.

If I have read your thread correctly she was originally registed in her mother's name and her parents then married. If that is right then she, or her parents could have applied for her birth to be legitimised.

The full certificate will show if this is the case.
