George Hoare married Alice Ada Reading in Dec 1917, Holborn. The family have lots of doc's relating to everyone ( including Alice Ada Hoare death on the 6th Nov 1940 in St Pancras) But nothing about George? the only info I have found is the marriage to Alice which I know is correct. the family think he had a sister Nellie (who was grandmother to Barrett family) in Holborn/Islington. |

Only found the marriage entry on free BMD, before that the family did not even know the first name of Mr Hoare who married Alice Ada Reading...Their first child was called George born 1918, so almost certain the marriage of George and Alice in 1917 is correct. Will have to order marriage cert to get answers. No option left.. |

Thats a great help, I was thrown by the Surrey births of Thomas and Nelly mentioned in the last post but they where from St Lukes which is the right place. Also it could be any of the families found by Malyon!!! |

Yes Alice Ada was born Hatswell and married Walter William Reading in 1906, Got all that side. Thanks to ArgyllGran for all the possible families too, who would have thought a Hoare would be so hard to find, I thought it wasn't a common name. |

I was given the address of 6 Doughty Mews by the family. Apparently 13 in all, lived at this address including children from Alice's marriage to Reading. Alice died on the 6th Nov 1940 and was buried at Finchley Cemetery. |
