I think the 1861 census onwards above are probably correct for Emma's family, but, as Catherine said, I think you may need her birth certificate to confirm Elizabeth/ Esther's maiden name.

Hi Catherine, I am getting ready to add my potential grandchild, due end of April, to my family tree and, so far, I have had limited input, definitely no certificates! Most of what I have found so far has been given the O.K.

Sibling Sophie from 1841 census:-

Name Sophia Ann Alexander
Gender Female
Christening Date 30 May 1819
Christening Place Buxton, Norfolk, England
Father's Name Benjamin Alexander
Mother's Name Martha

...........which give her mother as Martha.

So "if" this is the correct family, then there's a chance that Elizabeth's mother was also Martha.

Catherine

Catherine Report 30 Nov 2015 19:13

There is a possible death for a Martha Alexander:-

Deaths Sep 1840 (>99%)
ALEXANDER Martha Wisbech 14 102

Youngest daughter is also Martha:-
Births Sep 1840 (>99%)
Alexander Martha Aylsham 13 12
Alexander Martha Wisbech 14 142
ALEXANDER Martha Aylsham 13 32
ALEXANDER Martha Wisbech 14 247*

.............her birth is registered in both registration districts, so I would suggest that the mother died in child birth.
