Hi Ladies this is Jacqui Keith’s wife, its my Great Great Auntie and her family that you have been helping me with, she has been hiding from me for a long time.
Her daughter Grace came to England when I was 7 or 8 and she had just re-married a man called Larry, I don’t have a second name but she also had retired and they where moving to Fort Lauderdale Florida, I believe that she died in a car crash in the late 70s or early 80s. We don’t have a proper date as my auntie destroyed all her papers, she had dementia and didn’t want any one to have them, my mum got there in time to save some but the ones with the info of the family in the U.S.A. had all gone .
Have been going through my photos and have some off Annie’s family, her daughter in law Estella granddaughter Janie and grand son Jimmy, there is also one of her husband but no name on the back.

Marie, where are you...im in Southport in a very cold and windy England, but tomorrow will be in hot and sunny Tenerife!

Bet Southport's not as cold and windy as Whitley Bay!!

She travelled to America in 1911, travelling with Annie, but I havent been able to find anything further on her since then?

Hi Keith, I had initially looked for her as a means to finding Annie when she was being elusive but didn't get very far.

Havent found her on a census before calling herself Kate?

The address is actually not far from where we live now. She came to Southport on the 1901 census as well, but as Catherine.

The query w have here now is that Wickcliffe Lloyd is also a family name, but on Keith,s side of the family!! The only one we can trace though was born in 1828, cannot find any more of this one.

Ooh, I think Maureen may have something there. If I recall, we stopped looking for Mr Ashworth in later years once we'd found Annie.

Regards the name of Kate, it's definitely her because on the 1911 immigration papers she names her contact as Mrs Lloyd at that 1911 census address.

This 1910 is the William Ashworth that Catherine and Annie were travelling to, the address on the census is 1147 Plymouth Avenue. William's occupation is a machinist, same as the 1920 that Maureen posted.
