I have now heard from my Cullen "cousin". Unfortunately his family don't come from that area and none of the names ring any sort of bells with him. Sorry. It always was a bit of a longshot.

I am really stuck on this Cullen family Research and now I have further information.

Please could someone help me further I now have my great Auntie's death certificate and her son was John Cullen b.1926, was the informant and this helps me a great deal and my Auntie Mildred passed away in Godalming, Surrey.

Her son John was living in Burpham, Guildford, Surrey, at the time of his Mother's death.

But, I have just requested and received a marriage Cert for John Cullen but I am not sure I I have the correct marriage Cert. (It was just a possibility).

I am trying to trace John Cullen b.1926 and to find out if he had any children, as I cannot find a death at all for John.

On this marriage cert for john its says his Father was a John Cullen, but as I have John's birth cert which is correct his Father is named as William Thomas Cullen.

I am really getting frustrated with this as I am not getting very far with this one.

You have him alive in 1990, registering his mother's death and I can't see a death 1990-2006 with anything like the right birth date - the nearest on was in 2002 but he was recorded with birth date May 1924.

Bearing in mind it looks like his parent were long lived, he may still be around.

There is this birth for the Cullen Archer marriage.

John and Mildred married in 1924, and John was deifinitely born 13th April 1926 as per cert and I have just checked John's birth cert again and he was register on 20th May 1926.

To me either the birth Cert is the wrong or the marriage cert is the wrong one

Did John record his full address when he registered his mothers death? I don't know whether you are still local, but it may be worth checking out the electoral rolls to see if there was anyone else registered there. Also, try a google search on the address to see if Zoopla picks it up - you may be able to find out when it last changed hands.

Yes he has, on John's Mother's death cert John's address is 296, London Road, Burpham, Guildford, Surrey, in 1990.

I am many miles from that area now.
