Yes. I'd been trying 1891 and was about to move on to 1901. ;)

She exists. And the place of birth matches, so we have to be looking at the right parents.

Also been trying to find deaths for the durned parents.

The 1901 location makes this a possibility -- haven't tried to find this one in previous records.

I figure it's unlikely the servant has the same name as the household. The name is entered separately on the census sheet, and does seem to say Bennett, but ...

She's not going to be a daughter of a household where the head is a grocer and the son is a professor of music, d'you think?

One possibility I've been looking for is that by 1891 she was simply shacked up with somebody and appears under his surname. She would have been 18, it would have been possible ...

Looks very likely to be her, seeing as they have a son the same age so as you say, she can't be a daughter to the family.

Poor soul looks like she maybe had a hard time of it!!!
