This is 84 yr old Euphimia and her Daughter Mary 47!!! 1900 United States Federal Census about Mary Murray Name: Mary Murray Home in 1900: Detroit Ward 1, Wayne, Michigan Age: 47 Birth Date: Jan 1853 Birthplace: Michigan Race: White Ethnicity: American Relationship to head-of-house: Daughter Father's Birthplace: Scotland Mother's Name: Euphemia Mother's Birthplace: Scotland Marital Status: Single Residence : Detroit City, Wayne, Michigan Euphemia Murray 34 Mary Murray 47 Now then, it has Dates of Birth on this census.... Euphimia is listed as - Feb 1816 Mary listed as - Jan 1853 ...off to look for Mary's birth Tracey

Name: Euphemia Murray SSN: 385-38-0663 Last Residence: 48238 Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States of America Born: 2 Jan 1895 Died: Nov 1969 State (Year) SSN issued: Michigan (1956 ) The dates could well fit with John the son having a daughter called Euphemia? The census was taken beginning of August 1860 and they then appear on the UK census April 1861 so you have an 8 month window to find them coming back to england.... ....and more children!!! 1860 United States Federal Census about Euphemia Murray Name: Euphemia Murray Age in 1860: 3 Birth Year: abt 1857 Birthplace: Ohio Home in 1860: Pease, Belmont, Ohio Gender: Female Post Office: Bridgeport Lambert Watkins 53 Martha Watkins 42 Almeda Watkins 19 William Murray 31 Euphemia Murray 29 James Murray 9 William Murray 7 Elizabeth Murray 5 Euphemia Murray 3 Mary Murray 9.12 Ignore the Watkins they are a seperate family ...maybe sharing the house? Hmmm i'll keep digging EDIT On closer inspection looks like James, William & Elizabeth were all born New York. So did they have James a little early? Could he of actually been a UK birth? Tracey

Was just telling a friend about your success today and they are amazed at what is possible. I have invented a new disease......O.G.D. Obsessive Genealogy Disorder lol and it's contagious!!
