One of my husbands ancestors - William Mann was born in 1820 in Alderbury Shropshire and his Wife Ann (surname unknown)was born in born Pontesbury. I am not sure where they died but I would think it would be either Shropshire or Staffordshire.

I would really like to know when they married and what Annes maiden name was, but if you could tell me when they died this would help fill in some gaps.

hi sandra, i cant see either of them on the shropshire disc. they are difficult to trace in the cencus's too. thought i might have found them in 1841. found them 1851 using son james.sorry i cant be more help . jenny

Hi Gillian.. only john johnson i can see marrying a sarah kitchell is 1829 in northchapel. if you think they could be yours , i can let you have the dates... jenny

They were in Surrey by 1826 Jenny, so I don't think the Northchapel one can be them.
