Well she has a new single released tomorrow, although you can download it from today.

Is it the one she was singing last night, TW?

I only heard about half of it but it did sound good.

I'm not sure, but it would make sense for her to be promoting her new single wouldn't it.

It was good, and beautifully sung. She controlled the stage too.

I agree....I have watched every series and this one by far has the poorest bunch of 'talent'. The best singer by far is Nikki..but as a woman in her mid 30's does she stand a chance?

Hopefully people will be able to see past the age factor.

I wonder, though, how many people will bother voting after all the reports on phone in scams.

After all the hyp that has been going on in the press lately I would not trust that panel with walking my dog. It has been shown that phone calls are "fiddled" and I would not add to the coffers of that programme.

Ok - just watched all of X Factor.

Nicki is fantastic (the one who's dad put the application form in his wallett) but perhaps not X factor material.

Emily is fantastic - and only 15yrs old and especially the first week:o))

The lad who's doing it for his mum is very good. Very nervous and hope he can get more confident:o)) we've not seen his best yet.

Daniel the one with his son in the audience - was'nt very good tonight. He did'nt seem with it and l thought Sharon was abit odd towards him.

Kimberley - can definately do better than that - l think they made her look silly in that outfit and makeup and the song was wrong:o((

Rhydian - well!!! he has a brilliant voice but to me not an X factor candidate - musicals perhaps. Not so arrogant this time, infact he seemed abit subdued!! perhaps it was the HAIR!!! lol

The lad from Newport Wales, brilliant although abit lacking in confidence.

The school teacher brilliant but others are better than her!!

Alicia (l think thats her name) brilliant.

Both groups were brilliant.

The brother & sister were ok - be interesting to here them sing something less cheesy.

Thing is with this being the first night of live performances - they must have been so nervous, even Rydian!!
Can't wait for next week now BUT we're away and the people we're staying with watch the other side:o((((((

Beverley - the school teacher was my friends sons teacher the year before last.

She left the school this July - so perhaps the last 12 were already picked by then!!

Penny..Beverley is also the niece of a lady who I work with.

well she should win if 2 of us "know" her on this board :-)

AND Leona is just fabulous - but l thought the make-up made her look less innocent (if you know what l mean), her hair looked better though - but then l spose she's another year older and being in America for a year she's bound to have matured more!!

Must admit watching and listening this afternoon produced a few tears - l just love it:o)))

Maybe because the programme is shorter this year, but I can't seem to get enthusiastic one way or the other about any of them....

I did think Leona was truly great, tremendous voice....and I agree with Jude that Rydian, if he chooses to discontinue his opera career, should think about musicals....not a pop career......mind you I love El Divo.....lol

Im not into it as much as last year, can hardly remember the names of the acts. But I was so sad Kimberley went out, she didnt deserve that. Sharon Osborne does my head in!!!!!!

Penny - l watched it this afternoon,it was on at 1.10 ITV then the results followed. lthink will take spare dvd and vhs tapes with me incase friends don't watch it - really don't want to miss it.

It was on ITV2 last night as well twice once 8 ish & then late evening - so thats at least 5 times in a week !!!

Bit like Bruce - he has alot to do with Strictly Come Dancing does'nt he? which is probably why we'll always have to listen to his awful jokes !!! lol
