Yes maybe that is so Kb BUT it can change if the members want it to change we can all make a statement this way, we all can email suggestions to GR they say they welcome suggestions when I have sent them in. I think it will be in their own interest as well, ALL members need to protect other members and themselves from the abusive that we have seen on these boards, if not they will lose in the end, adds up to a lot of £7.50's lost and the abuse will continue and they will keep being inundated with complaints. NO It's time the members take on what has been happening, who knows who's next, people I know from these boards have been targeted, but no one knows who is next on the list. I have no wish to stand by and watch the bullies win no I won't do that without saying something. with respect to you, all I have written above is my opinion. Pat x |

Donna, if you right-click on 'account details' in the left-hand menu and then click on properties, you have to sign in again with your password but you can make changes to your name there. |

Many thanks Bec and Jean. I'm going to think about it first. Just saw Harlow Girl's thread which gave me food for thought. I am so naive--it hadn't dawned on me til I read this thread that someone could enter a thread under my--or anyone else's name. Unless we all keep an index of everyone's numbers by our computers (completely impractical), I don't see how this can be 'policed' properly. Maybe someone could explain it to me? I am assuming that those who are on here more than me already have an idea of who the 'trolls' are and maybe just note down their numbers? I always seem to miss all the trouble so have no idea who the 'trolls' are, as no-one (for obvious reasons) mentions their names directly. I mentioned on the other thread--I wonder if GR could find a way to add the numbers onto the names themselves in a way that would stop them being altered. It does seem such a shame that a small few people can force us all to have to to consider this! I really don't understand how people have the time to be so destructive--don't they have lives/jobs/homes/families? Sorry if this sounds rambled--I've got 'brain fog' today--too many pain pills!
