Many Congratulations on the safe arrival of Daniel. Well done Naomi. Try not to worry too much, Daniel will soon be home. I was born in 1954, a 7 month baby, weighed in a 3lbs 1oz. not even taken to hospital. Midwife lived next door. Jenny. x

Well done on the birth of your little boy. I wondered whether you suffered from cholestasis when you gave birth? I had it when I had my first daughter in July 1998 and suffered with awfully itchy skin that was worse at night. I used to scratch until it bled and would have happily walked over sharp grit to get rid of the itching. Cholestasis is when bile gets flushed around your blood stream and you get a little jaundiced. I gave birth to a healthy baby girl at 38 weeks 8lb 10oz. Not many Doctors have heard about it, I was wrongly diagnosed with scabies at first. Like your condition it can prove fatal if not properly treated. Hope you both get some sleep sometimes. All the best. Louise
