The slabs have arrived now and they are stuck on a 28ft lorry that can't get round the corner on the drive so he's dumping them off as close as he can ...which is no where near where they're needed!!! Polly & Dolly have a busy afternoon ahead moving them to the location of.....several hundred yards down rocky hill towards the shore!!! yes the tide is in!!! :-)))))) Just waiting till the slabs are unloaded then heading off for lunch :-)))

ok we are still waiting for the slabs to be unloaded from the lorry.......:-) just joined the gc photo's group...waiting for the confirmation email and will post piccies after that from our mini-mini-mini-meet!!!

Need to tell me how to get on to photos page - saw address somewhere but didn't write it down or save it, typical! Got guy using a mini digger to dig trench for slabs in back garden, making a lot of mess and noise so hopefully it will turn out ok. Where is Land Scaper when you need him??

Woody...EXACTLY!! where is he??? We need some muscle here to help shift these!!! Got some nice photo's here to go on later :-)))) We were going to go out for lunch but the slabs are taking longer to unload than planned so Polly's gona shoot off and make us omlette & chips...mmmmmm!!! Gona watch and see what she thinks of me later!! I think she's lovely (Polly where's my money for saying that??!! lol lol) Cats are very friendly now :-)))) Now we've met we're gona be layyyydeeess that lunch properly another time!!! :-))) RDA.x.

Nana - thanks for address, have written it down and will enter it and save later. Lunch at home is much nicer, girls - have never been a laydee so don't do the Luncheon circuit! The mini-digger which costeth loads of money to hire is leaking oil all over the place - oh joy! now they get to play at fixing it and of course stop to talk about it - meanwhile no work gets done. Looks like our Land Scaper is off back to work, bet he's glad he's not up here!

Just finished lunch....waiting for lorry driver to move last lots of slabs :-))))) Have to wait for him to finish before I can get back out of Polly's drive!!!! :-))) Still nice & dry here..sun keeps threatening to pop through :-)) Just gona nip of and see how lorry driver's getting on....brb :-))) RDA.x.

Slabs now all delivered, poor man is exhausted....Dolly keeps going out to ' eye him up ' more her age than mine.....It has taken him hours, give you an idea how many there.were.... She has justed gone, long coffee break !! Can't wait for the next meets,if they all go this well.....Gwen phoned as well !! Feel like we have always known each other... We did talk family trees , honest.... Going for a lie down now !!

What ARE you two doing to that poor lorry driver?? At least half an hour since you went out to see how he was getting on! Most lorry drivers end up at our cafe at some point - I can be bribed!! Hope you both had a lovely day and a good chin-wag

Just got home....had to wait for lorry driver to manouever (sp?) outa Polly's drive.....had trouble joining the main road!!! We had a lovely time today and are going to have another one soon.....just making sure we don't get blocked in by lorries delivering slabs!!! Thanks for lunch Polly!!! Just gona quickly get little sprite's homework done with him then start on dopey's hat & shoes!!! Yes i did get my tea in a snow white & 7 dwarfs mug!!! lol lol an it was PROPER tea not just hot water with the tea bag waved at it....good healthy dark brown colour!!! lol lol

It's so much quicker to get back in the road now it's all straight....I don't take the scenic route.....as i came in the door little sprite was sitting with a carton of juice and a biscuit AAAANNNNDDD he was changed out of school uniform...just sitting watching tv...wasn't too fussed I was 5 mins late getting in :-)))) Anyway we have some photo's to share with everyone...just gota wait for the photo page membership to get passed and we'll have the Polly & Dolly mini meet photo's on later!!!

WHEEEEESHD!!!!! Dinae tell everyone Polly!!! pmsl :-))) I was more sirprised I never came home to find the house in ruins!!! :-))) Now I def have to get off this site and go make dopey's hat & shoes...they're due to be in the school tomorrow.....gona go find a decent prog on tv to sew along too Polly if you haven't seen me on here by 7-7:30ish will you come over with a stitch picker and un-stitch me from the hat/shoes???? lol lol :-))))))
