right this is a map of the local area.... http://www.multimap(.)com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&GridE=-0.14660&GridN=51.52340&lon=-0.14660&lat=51.52340&place=Regents%20Park%2C%20station&db=freegaz&scale=10000&search_result=Regents%20Park%2C%20station&lang=&db=freegaz&keepicon=true we enter the park from the outer circle by Park Square West ( which is easier spotted to the left of Park Square Gardens) The playground is literally just inside Regents park at that point. Alternative tube staions are... Great Portland Street.....Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan lines......which doesn't look too much of a walk. Baker Street.....Hammersmith & City, Circle, Bakerloo Jubliee and Metropolitan lines......looks much longer walk and not one i fancy LOL Might be a bus????? I think we should either meet in the park at the playground and have mobile numbers so we can direct peeps who can't find it or still meet at Regents Station even tho it is closed.. Just gonna search for buses from Baker street as it's easier for me to get there than Gt Portland st BRB |

Buses from Baker Street Baker Street Stop: D Take the Bus 18 towards Euston or Bus 205 towards The Royal London Hospital or Bus 27 towards Chalk Farm Morrisons or Bus 30 towards St.Marys Of Eton Church or Bus 453 towards Deptford Bridge it's basically along the Marylebone Road Stop D at Baker Street is right outside the station. http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/FILELOAD?Filename=tfl_44C000B34.pdf and you must pay before you board on central London buses funny thing is the TFL site reckons it will take 10 mins to walk it.. so might be viable?? |

Hi Shelli, thanks for all that hard work! I will be out most of today, but will have a think about all that! Probably will say to meet at the playground - most people have been before and I have most mobile numbers - will pm those who I don't have. Sue has let me know that she won't be able to come, what a shame :-((( Maz. XX |
