Mine's an American keyboard (I'm here in UK), so don't have a pound symbol, now can some clever clogs tell me how I can get one without buying a new keyboard - not that I'm tight. Stella |

Stella, the return key is the big one, sometimes says 'enter'. Quick tip for copy m paste.. Highlight what you want to copy, then hit Ctrl and 'C' keys, then when you are ready to paste it, hit Ctrl and 'V' keys. If you want to CUT and paste (move it from one place to another), hit Ctrl 'X' instead of 'C' |

O M G Theresa I don't even know how to do the cut and paste thingy. This is getting very technical - I wasn't thinking of a City & Guilds course !! |

I don't know if these have already been mentioned but: - <Space Bar> Scrolls you down the screen page by page. <Shift + Space Bar> Scrolls you back up. <CTRL> + F Allows you to enter text to search for. |

Stella re £ sign. If you are using Word - click on Insert - click on symbol and you have loads of options including £ sign just double click it and it goes into whatever you are doing. Dorothy |
