Hey Debby, there's a full thread of us here that need to get a life! lol. But I do agree with you about Kerry unfortunately. Alan.......do you have alot of time on your hands then! LOL ;-))))

Yes he did say that but didn't put him through in the end but it annoyed me too - he shouldn't have been in the last 8 really. Having said that Simon is the only one who didn't vote for his own at the end of a show - Sharon and Louis always vote for their own - again this is unfair if they know full well that the other person/group is better! Wow I need to get a life! Debby

just to add my 2p worth.................. Did I hear Simon Cowell say last week before the live show, that lad who was always crying and about 16, the public will vote for him..so is it about selling records or which mentor wins?

Debby

Debby Report 16 Oct 2006 17:34

Oh dear - here are my views! The Unconventionals and Kerry will never sell records and that's what the X Factor is all about so I don't think Kerry will get very far either. Also, don't you think there have been a lot of sob stories this year? I'm not sure they should use these stories - it makes it unfair. The boy band surprised me - the weird looking one had a fantastic voice - maybe he should go solo! Debby

I find it rather intreging that when Lous Walsh is turned into an anagram it comes out as 'Is a low lush.'

Didn't think much of Kerry. Sweet enough voice, but no. X Factor is one of the highlights of the week for me, poor sad thing that I am, but the biggest problem with the show is that we often go for the songs that we know and like, and not always the performer, as they are all good. Don't know how I will get on next week as am not a Rod Stewart fan. (Wraps arms round head to ward off blows) Lynda x

Just watched it ....I thought the guy with Black or the group that sang what becomes of the broken hearted should of gone...they didn't even sing the right words...

I think Ray sounded awful last night.....he might have been better if he wasn't made to sing that awful song 'Ben' I think he is heavily relying on his super smile and confident personality to get him through the weeks. He definatly has the edge over most of the others as far as performing goes, seeing that he had been in a prime time soap for many years.

yep jeanette, agree she's very pretty... i cast two votes last night, one for kerry, and the other for nikita. bryan.

Have to say I'm getting fed up with the x factor now. We have had too many shows I think. Have to stick up for the Macdonald brothers though. Just imagine 1 minute being 2 brothers singing in local pubs etc then having to go in front of an audience and thousands of public!!! They did admit to being really nervous, I think nerves got the better of them all.

it will be interesting to see what kerry sings next week, it's true this weeks song wasn't challenging, but she really does have a beautiful voice. bryan.

I'm just listening to You are so Beautiful to Me by Ray Charles and think Ben would be wonderful singing that song. Tx

Wendy Report 15 Oct 2006 15:52

Tell you what, I could listen to Ben everyday with that wonderful singing voice he was the best so far for me bthen 4Sure next. Didnt like what they did to Leona hair though it was a style way too old for her. Goes with thedancing moves that Mr Cowell spoke of, both way too old. Looking forward to next weeks show, But there again we might all change our minds with a different song.
